The Blueprint: 11 Celebrity Kids Walk Their Parent's Path

Most people would scoff at the thought of taking over the family business, but when it's show business, the perks seem to outweigh any negative aspects. In the world of music, there are trail blazers that have become a household name because of their determination and dedication to perfecting their sound and building their brand. So it only makes sense that the work ethic they possess would rub off on their offspring.

Jay-Z
and Beyonce are prime examples of those who possess such qualities. New parents to daughter Blue Ivy, born Jan. 7, the married couple may one day watch their child entertain the masses in much the same way they've done throughout their storied careers.

To highlight the prospect of baby Blue grabbing a mic or showing her acting chops in the future, The BoomBox shines a light on a slew of celebrity seeds following in their famous parents' footsteps.

No it doesn't make sense that the "work ethic they possess would rub off on their offspring." Their offspring grew up in a very different world and are exposed to much more insider information than their pioneering parents. They do not have to work nearly as hard to make it in show business, because they do not have to break into the business.

So many negative comments here. These kids have a great chance to be exposed to the best in the business. It doesn't mean they will be successful but they at least have the advantage of the learning experiences. Sure is a lot of hate directed at Paris Jackson. Her Dad was the greatest artist of the last 50 years. She doesn't care one bit about the haters here who opine endlessly about her parentage. Michael was her father and she is now an heir to a billion dollar estate. She can do anything she wants to. Her Dad worked hard to hone his talent and I seeing how close they were, I am sure she learned some great life lessons that will see her through her life. Jealous??

I think Will Smith kids need to visit some homeless shelters and get some heart. They look, dress and act like spoiled brats. Sorry, I am not contributing one penny to thier career. Like look at Justin Bieber, he is continually doing something charitable.

MJ's kids have their own choices to make in life but people need to know/remember that they do not carry his gene's so it's not like his talent would be in their blood. However, the Smith's have talent and the the kid's are incredible, although Willow is growing up a little too fast. But they are both still really adorable. :)

What an idiotic statement. So gemetocs is the way talent is transmitted; not observing a strong work ethic from birth, not being submerged in the world of talent; not observing and absorbing a genius at work?

to MyBluQQ Rage much? Alot of these children do have talent. It can be hereditary just like looks and intelligence. Also have you considered that many of these parents who DO know the pitfalls believe that going thru it , they can guide and protect their child. And a real job? performers work their behinds off and if america didn't feel their career is valid they wouldn't spend billions on them.
