Beyonce: Diet, Workout Plan Advised After Pregnancy

As AOL Music reports, now that baby Blue Ivy is no longer just a bun in the oven, Beyonce will surely be hitting the gym to reclaim her famously fit curves! Celebrity post-baby body expert Jeanette Jenkins, who has worked with P!nk and Robin Thicke's wife, actress Paula Patton on their new mommy figures, has shed some light on the steps Beyonce should take in order to bounce back to her enviable pre-pregnancy shape.

The fitness guru told MTV News that getting your figure back after a baby is born starts with your habits before and during the pregnancy itself. "Working out should have been a part of a new mom's regimen before she got pregnant, while she was pregnant and for the rest of her life," Jenkins insists. "It should be part of your daily life, just like brushing your teeth or combing your hair. It's your internal hygiene," she adds. Well, Queen B definitely had that part down!

So how soon can Bey start working her way back to bootyliciousness? According to Jenkins, "A new mother should first wait until she gets clearance from her doctor, and she can immediately start by making healthy food choices. Once a mother receives clearance from her doctor, then her starting point depends on her fitness level."

The fitness expert prescribes a holistic workout regimen including cardio, flexibility, muscular strength and muscular endurance training, four to five days per week. In addition, she advises, "For the best weight-loss and toning results, it is important to train the entire body head to toe through all of the components of fitness with an emphasis on using the core at all times. It doesn't matter if she is power walking, doing yoga or cooking in the kitchen, the core needs to be consistently engaged. Always pull your navel to your spine."

And while this all may seem a bit rigorous for a new mom, Jenkins insists that having fun is the key to sticking with any fitness program. "The goal is to find activities and workouts that you enjoy so that you keep it a part of your life forever."

And what can Beyonce, who put herself and husband Jay-Z on a "partially vegan diet" during her pregnancy, chow down on to fuel her grueling workouts while still losing the baby weight? Jenkins has a balanced approach to that, too. "From my experience, if you make healthy food choices 80 percent of the time and eat whatever you like 20 percent of the time, then you will have great results. I recommend to my clients to eat healthy Monday through Friday and then let go on the weekend and enjoy yourself."

I can say from experience that there are so many more things to keep in mind if your goal is weight loss during or after pregnancy. I was 290 pounds when I finally decided to start losing weight. The worst thing about that was that I didn’t know how to start. After several months of taking useless diet pills and expensive supplements and all that crap I came across a very simple method here http://easyfreediet.weebly.com So, I decided to try it because it was free and easy to implement. Three months later I found myself weighing in at 170 pounds. I have to say it was probably the best diet plan in my whole life. Today I am still using the strategy to keep my body maintained and I tell you the main thing is to never give up no matter how hard it gets after pregnancy.
