Singer and fashionista Rihanna is set to put her style know-how to the test. The often provocatively dressed entertainer will team up with British pop star Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud for a reality competition show in search of new designer talent.

The as-yet-unnamed British TV show will be hosted by Roberts, and contestants will compete to create an outfit for princess RiRi. The designers' celebrity client will wear the winning ensemble for her performance at the 2012 Wireless Festival in London this July.

Despite the fact that the show will be Rihanna's first TV gig, the singer is set to executive produce the project, which will air on Britain's Sky Living network. "I've always had a great love of fashion. It's a constant source of inspiration and is a big reason why I've grown into the artist I am today," Ri told Sky Living. "I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts," she added.

Fellow musical diva Roberts is relishing in the opportunity to team up with the 'Talk That Talk' creator and 2012 Grammy nominee on the project, gushing, "I am so excited to be working with Rihanna on finding a new up-and-coming designer. I was so flattered when she asked me to work with her on this show. I'm so excited for us to get started."

The series will air exclusively in the U.K. this summer (2012).
