While Drake reportedly offered her 4 to 5 percent of the publishing, plus $50,000, according to the Hollywood Reporter, Lee filed suit, insisting she be declared co-writer of the popular track. Rather than settle, the 'Take Care' creator seems ready to prove his case.
"Drake tried for months to resolve the matter amicably, and he now looks forward to being vindicated in court," the statement concludes.
