Glowing kicks and flipped-up lid notwithstanding, Weezy's appearance was trumped by a shout out at the end of his verse, when he changed up the lyrics of the song to make reference to his newest passion -- skateboarding.
"You're a firework, light up in the dark/ You can find me at the skate park, yeah!" he shouted, before quickly exiting the stage.
Wayne's newfound passion for skating has been well-documented, from his private session in Amsterdam with professional skater Stevie Williams and recent trip to the park with Justin Bieber, to the mini halfpipe he built in his own house.
"If you know anything about Lil Wayne, Lil Wayne go hard about everything. A woman, anything, rap, rock, singin' skatin', I go hard!" Wayne exclaimed in a recent video from his house, claiming responsibility for a new generation of skaters. "I ain't bulls---tin' and s---, and it wasn't just because white boys do it, and Wayne on some white boy s---. I'm making the world a better place!"
