Rick Ross, Body Found Outside Home: Police Seek Rapper for Murder at His Mansion

Rick Ross is being sought by police for a murder that occurred at his Miami home Wednesday morning (Feb. 29).

TMZ reports that a 40-year-old man was shot dead outside of the rapper's Miami Gardens residence. Authorities revealed that the 'Stay Schemin'' creator was not at home during the time of the killing.

While cops search for clues in the investigation, Ross is not considered a suspect in the murder, however, they are looking to question him about the incident. According to Fuse TV, Ross owns the property but doesn't live there -- he uses the location for recording purposes and allows friends to stay there.

The body was found outside a gate at Ross' home.
