Rihanna, Karrueche Tran: Singer's Fans Threaten Chris Brown's Girlfriend

A handful of Twitter users really want Rihanna to get back together with Chris Brown -- the man who beat her up on the eve of the 2009 Grammys -- and if that doesn't speak to their attitudes on violence, their recent tweets do.

As TMZ reports, several Rihanna fans have tweeted death threats to Karrueche Tran, Brown's current girlfriend. The 'Talk That Talk' singer may have unwittingly instigated the attacks last week when she tweeted a picture that was an apparent jab at Tran.

RiRi decorated a package of rice cakes with sunglasses and hoop earrings. Tran is Vietnamese and put out a photo of herself wearing shades and similar jewelry, which probably explains the joke. The accompanying text read, "Ima make u my bitch."

It's strong language, but some supporters have gone a step further, tweeting at Tran, who's also a blonde, with messages like, "I hope Rihanna beat the dog s--- outa yo ass!" "Watch yo back" and "I will kill you."

Brown is reportedly sticking by his lady and being "100 percent supportive," as TMZ puts it, but rumors persist that he'll soon announce his reconciliation with RiRi. Either way, someone is bound to get hurt -- hopefully only emotionally.

Rhianna is an ass. She went batsh!t when someone referred to her being a 'woman of color' taking it as a negative jab, but then she goes and does something like this? It's okay to make racists comments, as long as it's not about her? What's wrong with her? It's time she grows up.

Oh My God! He has had girlfriends before Ri and after Ri and he and Rihanna got into a physical altercation, once, that we know of. Get over it. She loves him, he wants her (because you sure as hell see them getting together a lot and she's on his new track and he's on hers). Leave them alone. They're young. He's not the first celeb to hit a woman and he won't be the last but he sure as hell is the only one ever mentioned.
