TMZ reports that DeBarge and another man were witnessed by police engaging in conversation on an L.A. street. Without cause, the officers reportedly searched the two men and came up empty-handed, according to court documents. Cops subsequently searched the surrounding area and found a bag of rock cocaine underneath a vehicle.
The man with the 'Lay With Me' crooner admitted he was at the location to purchase cocaine from the latter. However, DeBarge denied his accusations. As a result, the D.A. said the evidence against the singer was insufficient and dismissed all charges.
