There was a noticeable absence at the Slaughterhouse show Thursday night (March 29) at New York City's Best Buy Theater. According to MTV, rapper Joe Budden was arrested for an outstanding warrant stemming from a traffic violation in 2007.

Joell Ortiz, Crooked I and Royce Da 5'9" took to the stage with noticeable gusto, but it was apparent to the crowd that something was wrong. After performing two songs, the MCs notified the crowd that Budden had been taken into custody by the NYPD before the show.

"Joey! Joey! Joey!" the crowd began to say in unison, without any prompting from the onstage rappers. Their support for the incarcerated Budden came out in between songs all throughout the night.

"We love Joey too," Royce told the crowd. "Chanting for him ain't gonna get him outta jail." Apparently Joe Budden has been released.

not suprised you guys don't know who he is since nowadays people only know about lil wayne, nicki minaj and other zero talent rappers.. joe budden is actually one of the best rappers out there and one of the few rappers, whose lyrics have meaning in them (no, really)
btw, he's also signed to eminem's (oh, you know this guy?) shady records label and slaughterhouse' shady debut album is coming soon.. go educate yourself and listen to some good hiphop music, that's not just about guns, drugs and all this bs

I wish someone would ask this intelligent brother why he still uses the N-word in 2012? - Read my blog about the subject at http://www.thepeoplesmic.blogspot.com - I’m tired of hearing you rhyme brother. How do you answer the charge of perpetuating ignorance?

Ignore the violation, get arrested. To a very few that seems unfair, but to most it's time to pay the piper.
