George Zimmerman Arrested: Trayvon Martin's Killer Charged With Second-Degree Murder

A month and a half after he was shot to death while walking home with a Snapple and a bag of Skittles, 17-year-old Florida teen Trayvon Martin's killer, George Zimmerman, has officially been charged with second-degree murder.

The hip-hop community stirred up an uproar over the Feb. 26 shooting, after the wayward neighborhood watchman walked away from the teen's shooting, claiming self-defense, thanks to Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law.

Talib Kweli, Ghostface Killah, Janelle Monae, Big Boi, Killer Mike, Nas, Game, Young Jeezy and many more joined in the public outcry over the killing, which inspired songs by Plies and Bad Boy signee Los, and reached as far as the White House, where President Obama personally called for an investigation, stating "If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon."

It appears that their voices have finally been heard, as special prosecutor Angela Corey announced Zimmerman's charges during a press conference in Jacksonville, Florida, earlier today.

The accused killer, who had been in hiding for weeks, has subsequently arrested, and is now being held in an undisclosed location. He faces life in prison, if convicted.

"We wanted nothing more, nothing less, just an arrest. All we wanted was an arrest from the very beginning," Trayvon's mother, said at a press conference following the announcement. "Heart has no color, it's not black or white, it's red. Thank you from my heart to your heart."

We need to bring some good out of this terrible tragedy. The organization called ALEC has actively fostered the spread of "STAND YOUR GROUND" laws to many states. These are the very same laws that led to the Trayvon Martin murder in Florida....laws that “allow” vigilantes to be judge-jury-and-executioners! Some mainstream corporations have funded ALEC. BUT... as their funding has been publicized, they have withdrawn their support. Call or write or email the following two ALEC supporters: JOHNSON and JOHNSON, and STATE FARM ...or ....visit www.pfaw.org/ditchALEC. Please urge these two companies to their cut ties with ALEC. Tell them that they should not want their brands associated with the dangerous laws ALEC promotes -- including voter suppression, NRA-backed “stand your ground” laws, extreme racial profiling laws targeting immigrants, privatizing public education and protecting corporate polluters. If you do not want YOUR hard earned money to be used AGAINST your best interests, then tell State Farm and Johnson and Johnson, in no uncertain terms: DON’T FUND ALEC!

First off, nice job showing a picture AT LEAST seven years old. He's much older and taller. Second, we've all been shown ABSOLUTE PROOF that Trayvon wasn't just "walking home with a Snapple & a bag of Skittles", but rather roaming around in a GATED COMMUNITY of which HIMSELF NOR ANY OF HIS FRIENDS LIVED and subsequently APPROACHED Zimmerman and ATTACKED HIM FIRST, BREAKING HIS NOSE this PROVEN by the EMT reports that night.

Get your racist, political correct "facts" straight and keep your bullshit opinions to yourselves at your "whine & cheese" parties and OUT OF THE MEDIA!!!

Chaiman MAObama is right: this nation is racist, but it's perpertrated by his socialist agenda and the media's all-too williningness to foist said agenda. Obviously the following quote has been taken as MAObama's "Mission Statement":
