For the cover story, writer Julianne Escobedo Shepherd embarked on a "whirlwind international adventure," seeking to investigate the man behind the "fun-loving, club-destroying image."
"I'm 25, but I got an old man's soul," Waka reveals. "I just know how to camouflage it."
The Brick Squad MC also discusses his broad-ranging appeal. "I can't clock into just one group of people ever in my life," he says. "When I was younger, I hung with nerds, thugs, basketball players, a lot of girls. But none of the different crowds knew [about the others]. I'm kinda all those things."
