Beyonce, Fake Pregnancy: Rumors 'Crazy,' Singer Says

The Internet is great for fostering conspiracy theories, and toward the end of last year, Beyonce found herself at the heart of a real whopper. According to some, the R&B songstress was faking her pregnancy -- i.e. rocking a prosthetic bump to hide the fact that she and hubby Jay-Z were using a surrogate to carry their first child. The singer was well aware of the rumors, and nearly four months after the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy, she's opening up about how they made her feel.

"That was crazy," Beyonce said in an interview with People magazine. "It wasn't hurtful. It was just crazy."

While the superstar might have been more baffled than hurt, her mother, Tina Knowles, found the stories "painful," especially since people had the gall to ask her about them.

"I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months," Tina said.

If Beyonce was puzzled by the gossip -- following an Australian TV interview, some mistook folds in her outfit for evidence of a fake belly -- the pop titan said she felt plenty of support once Blue Ivy arrived.

"There was so much love and well wishes from all over the world -- it made it easier to deal with the stupid rumors," she said.

It's really a shame when we speak unkind words about people we really don't know. Some women carry their babies different ways. Why you believe she wasn't pregnant bcuz she wasn't big? You right Beyonce and Jay-z are super rich what people say about them bcuz of their status in life I doubt if it really affects who they are in life. If she did have a surrogate people do it all the time. I don't know Beyonce only thru t.v. but what I heard is that she is a very nice and caring young lady who probably had her share of ups-downs like the rest of us but still has kept her sweetness and caring about herself. So to all the haters maybe in some small area of your life you can learn to change and stop being so negative. Life is too short to try to determine or undermind some else's life.

Why is she so shocked people do't believe she was pregnant, could it be the fake hair, or better yet the way her skin color changes every year, could it be the fact she never ever looked pregnant just staged... I wonder. You want people to believe this when every thing else about her is unreal.

I never heard the rumors, nor read them in the press, but suspected it from the get go when she announce she was pregnant with no tummy (at 2-3 monts there is no tummy), but then was giving birth in what seemed only a month or two (not even). Then there was the big bru-ha-ha about no one being allowed on the maternity floor. It was so obvious. I found it annoying that I heard no questioning and suspicion in the press, yet they were harping on Jessica Simpson taking forever to have her baby! Guess what it takes forever to have a baby....9 long months with 3 months of puking, 3 months of honeymoon bliss, then three months of the kid doing jumping jacks over your bladder and throwing those hand up to punch your lungs. NO WAY/ BEYONCE/ CARRIED A BABY/ PUSHING IT INTO THE LIGHT OF DAY. I would bet a nice chunk of change that I am right. (The glow was from L'Oreal Spritzer)

I wore heels all thru all four of my pregnancies, amd they were HARDLY fake! whether she carried the baby or not, does it really matter?! it's still HER baby, she's not taking food off anyone's table, none of us are waking up looking at her every morning, so why all the damned hostility?!

Yes it matters. Pretending you were pregnant just to hide an adoption is evil and it says a lot about you mentally. Her marriage was brokered by her father and that makes her a prostitute. She and Jare using their marriage as a publicity grabber and they added a baby that Beyonce never carried. This woman released tons of personal photos a feww weeks ago..not ne showed her bare belly pregnant...then suddenly after her baby is born we are to beleive she is slim and trim again and out n heels and blah blah blah...

Did I miss something? Where did all the hate for Beyonce come from? Not just with her but I have seen this with other stars as well.

I am not saying that I trust her words because there are a lot of things in her stories that simpy don't add up. But it doesn't justify the sentiment that I am reading in these posts.

Because no one likes a liar. Most of us have babies the hard way, leaving the jalopolos stretched and sore, stretch marks on belly, hips, &/or hips, wider hips, extra weight that is hard to lose, especially with no domestic help, bleeding for up to six weeks, totally exhausted and now we have to take care of an infant 24/7 and be sleep deprived for a few more months. She is a liar claiming to be a hero. HEY ON ONE LIKES THOSE CREEPS THAT CLAIM THEY WERE WAR HEROES, AND THEY NEVER EVEN LEFT OUR SHORES..........SAME THING NUT HEADS!

You nosy people need to get a life. It is her business she doesn't have to tell the world everything. How many crazy stars do you see walking around in heels while pregnant. Look at Courtney K she almost busted her behind I didn't hear anyone saying her pregnancy was fake.

illuminati satanic fake pregnancy... the question is how did they get a baby in their hands and where did it come from.. probably some sacrifical stage where once the baby was born they killed the mother or something completely sick to get more wealth from satan.
