Rihanna Prosthetic Croc Skin: 'Where Have You Been' Costume Took Eight Hours to Create -- Photo

Rihanna debuted her "Where Have You Been" video Monday (April 30), emerging as a creature from the water in the the opening scenes. As she slowly comes up through the surface, the Bajan singer appears to have scales on her back. She wore a latex prosthetic croc top to achieve the look.

Fans of the Talk That Talk creator learned of the news via her Facebook page.

"#RihFact: Rihanna's latex prosthetic croc top in the 'Where Have You Been' video took 8 hours to create by hand. You can see the final look in the opening and closing scenes," was posted with an image of an individual applying the latex to the songstress' back.
