Chaka Khan Drops 60 Pounds, Singer Shows Off Slimmer Waist -- Video

Lauded singer Chaka Khan has shed some weight from her waistline, looking noticeably thinner during a performance in Washington D.C. E! News reports that the "Through the Fire" creator has been working on her physical fitness and dropped 60 pounds as a result.

At the Kennedy Center Annual Spring Gala on May 6, Khan appeared half her size in a black jumpsuit. The body-hugging outfit showcased the 59-year-old's new slimmer frame.

Khan has yet to comment on her dramatic weight loss, but the chanteuse, who suffered from high blood pressure and diabetes, obviously has been living a healthier lifestyle.
