Chico DeBarge Files for Divorce, Asks for Paternity Test

Citing "irreconcilable differences," Jonathan Arthur "Chico" DeBarge, an R&B singer whose older siblings performed in the Motown group DeBarge, has filed for divorce from his wife, Andrea DeBarge, TMZ reports.

As per the gossip site, Chico and Andrea married in 1996 and separated nine years later. The couple has four children, and while the singer has asked for visitation rights, he's not seeking custody.

Might that be the result of dubious paternity? According to TMZ, Chico has asked the courts for a paternity test. Reps for his soon-to-be ex have yet to respond.
