After news surfaced that Brandy's brother had a confrontation with Whitney Houston's family -- namely the fallen singer's sister-in-law Pat Houston -- at the awards show, he apparently was upset over the ordeal, which may have triggered the exhaustion and dehydration he experienced.
He reportedly was found in his hotel room extremely disoriented, "out of it" and unable to get up from the bed. Ray J was subsequently taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Before heading to the Billboard Awards on Sunday, the entertainer returned from a 32-hour round trip to and from China for business. He then drove four hours to Las Vegas for the ceremony Sunday evening. The lack of rest is said to be the cause of his hospitalization. He currently remains in at an undisclosed hospital.
