Nicki Minaj, BET Awards 2012: Rapper Performs 'Champion' and 'Beez in the Trap'

Nicki Minaj's BET Awards performance Sunday night (July 1) opened with a live orchestra as she moved into her reflective track "Champion," off her sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

After the first verse, the Queens MC switched up the laid-back performance and took the energy to the next level with her rap hit "Beez in The Trap." Minaj rapped through the track while the stage was set with black, red and beehive-simulated lights.

Rocking her signature platinum blonde hair with pink tips and dressed in black lace, she wasn't shy about moving her tush to the beat. The flashy rapper 2 Chainz entered the stage, adorned heavily with gold chains and bracelets with his all-black-everything get-up, helping Minaj close out the performance.

During the performance, the camera cut to Beyonce, seated in the front row, and caught the songtress rhyming along to the hook of the track.
