"Dear nerd rapper opening for Powerglove/mc chris. You're not good enough to pander to me. Better luck next time," Taylor tweeted, then walked to the lobby to buy a drink.
Upon his return, he was surprised to hear MC Chris calling out his name from the stage.
"My friend and I looked at each other confused and heard him ask for it again," Taylor explained. "I got up, walked back onto the floor and raised my hand. He then pointed at me and yelled, 'Security is going to take you the fuck out now! That's what you get for talking shit on Twitter!'"
After being escorted out of the Philadelphia Union Transfer arena by security, Taylor posted his side of the story on Reddit, where MC Chris received criticism for his behavior.
"How immature is it to publicly humiliate someone for something tweeted to just my hundred (which are mostly bots) or so followers," wrote Taylor. "Mc chris definitely came off as a dick, throwing away my years of fandom and support over 140 meaningless characters?"
Though MC Chris continued to insult Taylor the next day, comparing Taylor and his supporters to Hitler in a Facebook post, which he has since deleted, he ultimately apologized for the incident, claiming to be working on his "hyper critical attitude."
