Rihanna Set to Appear on 'Oprah's Next Chapter' -- Video

Rihanna is following in the footsteps of 50 Cent and taking a seat in front of Oprah Winfrey for a candid interview for "Oprah's Next Chapter." The Bajan songstress will return to her native Barbados for the one-on-one with the TV host, discussing her career accomplishments and the ups and downs she's faced along the way while achieving success.

Referred to as a "bonafide global phenomenon" in the teaser video featured below, Rihanna's appeal comes from scoring five Grammys and 11 No. 1 singles. Her most recent No. 1 has been her Talk That Talk single "Where Have You Been," which earned a top chart position on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs earlier this year.

The 24-year-old pop chanteuse's interview on "Oprah's Next Chapter" airs Aug. 19 at 9PM on OWN.
