Nicki Minaj Fan Grabs Rapper Onstage, Security Pummels Him -- Video

Nicki Minaj brought her Pink Friday tour to Miami Wednesday night (July 25), giving her loyal Barbz a treat with surprise performances by Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled and Birdman. However, not every fan walked away from the show with a positive experience. One unruly male supporter rushed the stage to get closer to the wig-wearing MC. The end result: he was pummeled by security and Minaj's entourage.

In a video of the incident, the 29-year-old Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded creator is shown addressing the crowd between a break in her performance. As she walks back and forth across the stage, an eager fan comes from her right and attempts to get up close and personal -- he grabs a hold of the rapper's waist and. Subsequently, a burly security guard runs to Minaj's rescue, but the fan doesn't want to ease off his grip.

What happens next is a series of punches and kicks he receives from both security and Nicki Minaj's right-hand man SB, all while being led behind the stage. Two men, who appeared to be friend's of the man being beaten up, jumped onstage and followed after him.

The "Beez in the Trap" rhymer apparently found the whole situation funny and laughed it off, telling those in the audience, "I just want to thank you for the love Florida," with a huge smile on her face.

Lawsuit! as a state licensed security company owner I can state she needs real security services. Remember John Lennon? no security! lax security! = potential death its that simple. Society is crazy :) too close for comfort would be my perspective if I were her....

Too bad she ruined what could have made her a respected artist career. She was pretty good before she got signed when she was a street emcee then the idea for the outfits, makeup and dummied down simple minded music came and her respect and talent were gone. Such a shame.

Whatever.....this is the crap that passes for entertainment these days.....fake face, hair, big butt etc......glad I lived through the era of REAL music, The Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Doors, Janis, Pink Floyd, CSNY, Dylan.....Woodstock. Who is there today...Justin Beiber. and other dime a dozen bores.........the only decent band out there today doing something is Green Day, Bruce Springsteen......yes there are more....but few. I really feel sorry for the "younger" generation. Most of them haven't a clue.

Dude, you had me until Green Day. Green Day isn't doing anything different from the rest of the pop crap these days.

You're talking only about popular music though..bands like those you just posted do exist, they just don't get the media attention, unfortunately. There's an amazing world of music still out there, you just have to do a little digging.
