On July 19, news broke that the longtime couple had cancelled the nuptials, despite reports that they had just signed on to be on an upcoming VH1 wedding reality show. Game, born Jayceon Taylor, was quick to shoot down suggestions that the relationship drama was staged for the sake of the reality cameras.
"Just in case you blogs think I cancelled [the] wedding on some kool [sic] s--t ... I didn't ... She did cuz [sic] of my web of lies, cheating & lack of presence," the rapper tweeted.
"The rumors are TRUE. The wedding is OFF," Game originally tweeted on July 19. "It's not her fault, it's mine! She's a GREAT woman, I just wasn't man enough 2 [sic] see it through."
The announcement marked the father-of-three's second failed attempt to walk down the aisle. Back in 2006, Game and actress-model Valeisha Butterfield called off their March 2007 nuptials.
Now, however, it seems like Cambridge is willing to move past Taylor's lies, infidelities and M.I.A. tendencies. "Congratulations to Tiffney Cambridge & Jayceon Taylor [who] have reconfirmed their intention to be wed in the very near future," an official announcement reads on the couple's wedding website. According to TMZ sources, the ceremony has been rescheduled from the original June 28 date to Aug. 12.
