Emeli Sande, Olympics Closing Ceremony: Singer Performs 'Read All About It' -- Photos

Emeli Sande gave a riveting performance during the Olympics Closing Ceremony in London Sunday (Aug. 12), performing the moving balled "Read All About It."

The singer, who also performed "Abide With Me" at the Opening Ceremony, stood atop a moving truck -- which was wrapped in newspaper print -- and was accompanied by a piano man as highlights from the 16 days of the Olympics flashed onto screens all around the stadium.

"You've got the light to fight the shadows so stop hiding it away," she sang. She also gave a nod to her debut album, Our Version of Events, in her lyrics. "It's about time we have some airplay of our version of events."

Ed Sheeran, The Spice Girls and One Direction, among others also performed.
