Frank Ocean Cancels European Tour Dates, Coldplay World Tour Slot

Frank Ocean has just made a career decision that unfortunately disappoints his supporters. The Odd Future crooner has cancelled his upcoming shows in Europe and his slot on the Coldplay world tour.

In a statement provided to MTV News, Ocean informed his fans that the choice was not an easy one.

"Let me start by saying I feel like an asshole right now, but a tough decision had to be made in regard to my schedule over the next months and the casualties of that decision include my appearances at upcoming festivals in Europe and my opening slot on the European leg of the Coldplay world tour. Sorry as fuck, I'll be back if you'll have me."

Recently, news of Ocean's vocal troubles made headlines when he walked off a stage at Norway's Oye Festival suddenly after performing just four songs. Apparently he "got sick and lost his voice," which a festival representative revealed to the crowd.

The "Super Rich Kids" singer debuted his solo album Channel Orange in July. He performed several shows in support of the LP across the U.S. He was set to continue doing so with the upcoming Coldplay world tour.
