In several radio interviews, Stevie J denied the rumors, claiming that he's been in Los Angeles the whole time, working with Rihanna and Mariah Carey.
Receiving a call from Hot 97 radio personalities Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg, Stevie took a moment to watch the video, behaving as if he was unaware of the clip. "I'm in L.A.," the producer explained. "That wasn't me, I wasn't in Miami. But whatever someone feels they need to do, they need to do that. I'm in the studio making hits."
Calling into the Chicago radio show The Morning Riot later, Stevie also defend himself against the clip. "I been doing this, screwing chicks. Telling lies, selling pies, committing felonies," he said of doing everything other than kissing Lil Wayne. "I leave kissing guys to them other guys."
Meanwhile, Stevie J's "artist" Joseline Hernandez had quite a bit to say about Wayne's sexuality, none of which anyone wanted to hear.
"First of all, who does that?" she said of the alleged kiss. "Since I was 15, I been knowing Lil Wayne kisses dudes."
