Rihanna, Rita Ora: 'Diamonds' Singer Loses Movie Role

Even though Rihanna is celebrating her #1 album, she unfortunately reportedly lost out on a role in the upcoming movie, "The Fast And The Furious 6."

According to U.K.'s The Sun, scheduling difficulties were to blame on Rihanna's part and Rita Ora has instead been offered the role. A source told the paper, "Rihanna impressed movie bosses with her role in 'Battleship.' But schedules didn't work out and Rita really shone during castings. They loved her look and her attitude."

Rita will reportedly play a villain in the car-chase movie, also starring Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson. Her spokesperson declined to comment on the movie news.

Although Rita and Rihanna have been said to be rivals, the two did share a friendly kiss on the cheek earlier this year.

Today is Rita's 22nd birthday. Rihanna, who last appeared in the movie "Battleship," doesn't seem too upset to miss out on the flick, as she's been busy posting revealing pics on Twitter.
