Brandy Engaged: Singer to Finally Marry Boyfriend Ryan Press (See Her Ring!)

After hinting for months that she was hoping he'd put a ring on it, singer Brandy has revealed that she and longtime boyfriend Ryan Press are finally engaged to be married.

The "Wildest Dreams" singer, 33, had frequently expressed her desire to marry Press, a music executive, and now it seems her wish has come true.

"They are thrilled and happy and Brandy feels this is so right," an "insider" tells Us Weekly, of the proposal.

"I keep hearing about a ring. People keep calling me, hinting to me about it, but I don't know," she said in an interview Sister2Sister magazine back in August. "I'm going to be patient and let it happen and just let it be ... I guess it will happen when it's the right time."

The marriage will be Brandy's first, though she has a 10-year-old daughter, Sy'rai, with ex Robert Smith, to whom she purported to be married for two years out of concern for her reputation.

why would she say she was married to Robert Smith when she wasn't? People have kids out of wedlock daily..her reputation? She is so full of herself that she actually thinks anyone would care to the point that she had to lie about being married..these celebrities..really something..
