That may change soon, however, if things getting moving on his new record label situation, which up until a few days ago seemed like it would be with DJ Khaled's We The Best Music Group.
"Looks like I'm taking my talents 2 South Beach #WTB," the rapper tweeted on Jan. 20. But that tweet was subsequently deleted and it appears he's completely backtracking on that statement.
In an interview with VladTV, he wholeheartedly denied signing with DJ Khaled, but hinted that a deal might be on the horizon.
"It's potential over there," he said. "The potential is high. There's a few people out there reaching. It's not official yet. It's just, hey, you ain't know LeBron [James] was going to Miami until he really went to Miami, but you heard it in the air."
The move is not as random as it may seem.
"Khaled knew me for years," Vado explained. "He knew me from the game from the Jae Millz era. There's definitely close relations right there. He knows my family, I know his family."
Vado released his latest mixtape Swine Flu 3 this week. Download it at DatPiff.
