Curren$y
Here, the three comrades go in over triumphant horn swells, a haunting organ line and rolling 808s. And where Curren$y once rapped with a stream-of-consciousness flow that found his lyrics seemingly rolling off his tongue the minute he thought them up, here he's focused, right in pocket on the beat.
Judging by the quality of "Choosin," New Jet City may turn out to be something special. Curren$y drops a lot of projects, so occasionally his tunes can be hit or miss. But we've got high hopes now.
This isn't the first time this particular trio has collaborated. Who can forget Ross' "Super High (Remix)," which was the first time the Wiz and Curren$y got with the Bawse for a track.
