Mary J. Blige Tells Vibe: 'I'm So Proud of What Rihanna is Doing"

Rihanna may have her detractors, but she just got a huge cosign from the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul herself -- Mary J. Blige.

The songstress covers Vibe's 'Style' issue and says she supports RiRi's movement.

"I am so proud of what Rihanna is doing," Blige says. "She is speaking to her generation, and she's living her life in front of them."

Blige adds that what's great about Rihanna is that everything she does comes from an organic place.

"I don't even think she is purposely doing it," she explains. "She's such a beautiful girl, and I don't think she knows she's that beautiful. She's just living her life, and leading her generation, and she has great, great songs."
