To that end he's releasing a short EP of remixes -- one produced by Diplo and another by Afrojack -- looking to potentially wring the last bits of life from his viral smash. The Diplo mix also features Tyga and 2 Chainz and you can listen to that version below.

On the one hand it's wise that PSY drops this little EP, because the remixes (at least the Diplo one that we've heard) sound pretty good, if not a bit generic. But it can't hurt, right? On the other hand it really does seem like this is the end of the line for the song. And maybe PSY. That's not to say he won't be able to perform this song forever. But still, you've got to wonder if he's got another hit in the chamber. Most viral stars don't. We've got love for the guy, though. So we'll just wait and see.
