According to TMZ, the seizures started while Weezy was shooting a music video. He was quickly taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital and released several hours later.
The gossip site reports that Lil Wayne is doing "much better" now.
In November, the rapper told MTV he was prescribed seizure medication following two separate seizures that happened last year while he was aboard flights. After the incidents, his rep said that he was treated "for a severe migraine and dehydration." Lil Wayne also assured fans that he was fine, sharing that he drinks four bottles of water each day as part of his treatment.
"I don't want y'all to think I'm on nothing, man," he said. "I'm on seizure medicine, man, that's all."
