Too Short, DUI: Rapper Arrested After Running from Police

Too Short arrested, charged with four misdemeanors Paul Archuleta, FilmMagic

UPDATE (4/7/13 11:30 AM: On Friday (April 5), TMZ reports that Too Short was charged with four misdemeanors: two counts of DUI, one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of Marijuana or an open container while driving. A hearing is set for April 15.

Too Short was arrested last night in Los Angeles and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of drugs, according to TMZ.

L.A. police Office Cleon Joseph told the Los Angeles Times that Short tried to escape by running from the cops, but tripped on his way down the street. That lead to him being caught and arrested.

He allegedly tried to get rid of drugs that were on his person while he was sitting in the back seat of the police car.

This is not the first time the Bay Area rap legend has been in trouble as a result of alcohol. He was arrested twice on suspicion of D.U.I. in 2009.

The catch line was "Star Arrested After Running From Cops". Where is the star? Why do you insist upon referring to these no-talent rhymers as "Stars". My Grandchildren have more rythym than any of these burnt out drugies.

I still dont get the facination that all entertainers have with attempting to drive while high or drunk. It cant end good for them, its going to make the news. But then again, how can I hold someone responsible for their actions "after" they are drunk or high. Slow down on the drugs and alcohol $hort! We need those club bangers like "Blow the Whistle" thats my riding music man!!!

Actually, this might be quite good for his career. In order to be a DL rap star *****, you have to be in trouble with the "man" from time to time. And of course, this was just another case of the black man being held down/persecuted by the man and the system.
