Jay-Z and Roc Nation Sports Welcome Skylar Diggins With Warm Reception

The Notre Dame women's basketball star celebrated her signing with the rapper's sports management agency during a reception at the 40/40 Club Thursday (May 30). Dressed in a form-fitting mint green dress and neon yellow pumps, Diggins, a recent Notre Dame graduate, chatted with Hov and was all smiles at the event. As a gift for earning her college diploma, Roc Nation gifted her with a new ride: a Mercedes-Benz. "Got surprised with a new mercedes! Thanks so much to Jay and @rocnation, and @dancyautogroup!" the 22-year-old tweeted. ...

The ball player has much to celebrate. Diggins was drafted third overall by the Tulsa Shock in the WNBA draft.

Roc Nation Sports' current signings include New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith and New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano, in addition to Diggins.

Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj Confirm Exits From 'American Idol'

The news of both entertainers' confirmed exit from 'Idol' did not leave fans very shocked considering rumors have spread over the last few weeks. Once Randy Jackson revealed he was leaving the show, it was only a matter of time before the other judges went on the record. ...

PMK-BNC, Carey's publicity firm, confirmed the lauded songstress was exiting 'Idol' via Twitter. "W/ global success of "#Beautiful" (#1 in 30+ countries so far) @MariahCarey confirms world tour & says goodbye 2 Idol http://mariahcarey.com," was posted to the company's official Twitter page.

As for the Young Money rap star, she also relied on Twitter to share her departure news. "Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience! Wouldn't trade it for the world! Time to focus on the Music!!! Mmmuuuaahhh!!!" Minaj tweeted.

Both ladies are focusing on their forthcoming music projects. With a world tour to plan, Carey will, of course, perform past and present hits, especially those yet to be heard on her upcoming 14th LP. Minaj will return to her hip-hop roots and begin crafting her third studio album.

Big Boi Has Leg Surgery, Reschedules Dates on Shoes for Running Tour

The rapper must reschedule several dates on the performance trek as a result of tearing the patella in his left knee during a May 26 show in Chillicothe, Ill., Billboard reports. "#backoutcheain6weeks," Big Boi wrote as a caption for a photo posted to his Instagram feed, showing himself seated in a wheelchair after surgery. ...

He also posted an image of himself recuperating at home, a meal positioned in front of him and his leg resting on a chair.

"Shout out to the good folks at Game Ready and my Orthopedic surgeon 6 weeks then we back outchea #shoesforrunning," he wrote.

The Shoes for Running tour will resume once Big Boi is back on his feet. All June dates have been rescheduled for September. The new tour stops will be announced shortly.

Woman Sues MAC After Claiming Herpes Came From Rihanna Lipstick

Christian Petersen, Getty Images A 28-year-old woman from Harlem, N.Y., claims she contracted herpes after using a Rihanna-endorsed lipstick at a MAC pop-up shop earlier this month. Starkeema Greenidge filed a lawsuit against MAC, in which she alleges that a MAC representative used RiRi Woo on her lips, which, in turn, caused her to subsequently contract the virus because a new lipstick tube wasn't used. "(MAC) didn't use a fresh or new lipstick tube, but rather one that had been used for other patrons," information in the suit reveals. ...

On May 7, Greenidge attended Rihanna's concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., where she visited a MAC pop-up shop that was opened for the event. This is the day she explains she was hit with herpes, which a doctor diagnosed.

"I wasn't able to work for two weeks. It cost me a lot of money," she told The New York Daily News.

Greenidge, a waitress, is looking for the company to be more sanitary in the future and train its employees to use disposable tubes or swabs to apply lipstick on customers.

MAC officials did not comment on the matter yet.

The follow-up to his Chris Brown-assisted "Ready" finds the Brooklyn rapper rhyming about giving time to people, places and things at his leisure. "When I feel like it/ Kill these h--s when I feel like it/ When I feel like it/ That's my bitch when I feel like it/ When I feel like it/ Kill these n----s when I feel like it," he raps. "The way it's shaped it, they say it's fake/ I can't lie I still like it/ No snitch I can't tell/ If it look real and it feel like it." ...

2 Chainz jumps in and delivers a pompous verse. "I ain't a chef, I make meals like 'em/ Cut 'em up into thin slices... Competition ain't real like me/ I'm so sick, who ill like me," Deuce spits.

"When I Feel Like It" will likely find its way on Fab's upcoming album, "Loso's Way 2: Rise to Power," due in July.

Snoop Lion Debuts 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks' Video With Miley Cyrus

YouTube Snoop Lion and Miley Cyrus join forces for the visual for "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks," a Major Lazer and Ariel Rechtshaid-produced song featured on the rapper-turned-reggae crooner's recently released "Reincarnated" album. In the PR Brown-directed video, Snoop looks back and reminisces on the memories he has of lost loved ones and better times. The clip showcases ups and downs like a homeless man sleeping on the street and a young girl jumping rope. There are violent street fights and a man taking time out to feed pigeons. ...

Cyrus prompts viewers to "raise a glass to the memories" and reminds those who've passed that "you're gone but never missed," as she appears through reflections on a mirror.

Miguel Performs 'Adorn' on 'Later... With Jools Holland'

Jemal Countess, Getty Images Following Miguel's headline-grabbing performance at the Billboard Music Awards last week -- who can forget his unintentional drop kick on a fan -- the singer headed across the pond to make his U.K. TV debut on BBC Two's "Later... with Jools Holland." Miguel commenced his performance of "Adorn" by resting a white mic stand on his shoulders. He then circled around and belted out, "Baby these lips can't wait to taste your skin." ...

Dressed in a long black blazer, graphic T-shirt and silver chain, he showcased his fancy footwork and twirls while singing the celebratory, love ode.

This summer, Miguel will debut more releases in his "Art Dealer Chic" series. Three-song EPs will arrive in July, August and September.

As for his Billboard Music Awards mishap, Khyati Shah, the woman the crooner landed on during his performance, is reportedly considering legal action against him, E! News reports. She will apparently decide to file a lawsuit once she receives medical results for her "injury."

Fantasia Talks Suicide Attempt, Children's Motivation and 'Side Effects'

Rick Diamond, Getty Images Fantasia's life has been filled with triumphs and tribulations, much of which she expresses on her fourth studio album, "Side Effects of You." In an interview with TheDrop.fm about her new project, the "American Idol" alumn also discusses some of her past troubles and current inspirations. In 2010, the singer attempted suicide due to the stress of her career. Once she was hospitalized, she took the time away from the world to get a grasp on reality. "When I went into the hospital, I looked up artists who've been through things," Fantasia tells TheDrop.fm. "I researched other singers who have faced struggles, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle, they all have stories to tell. I took my cues from them, and I just put my mind and everything into music." ...

She immersed herself back into her craft and focused on making her new LP. But there was one motivating factor to get the job done: her children. Fantasia is the mother of an 11-year-old daughter, Zion and 1-year-old son, Dallas.

"I love children," the North Carolina native admits. "My kids push me. They are my lifesaver. It was hard for me to be on the road when my daughter was growing up. My kids are the reason why I can't stop. Because of them I have to live healthy so I can see my children's children. They push me to be a better person."

With her LP currently out in stores, Fantasia is pleased to share her message with the masses once again with songs like "Lose to Win" and "Without Me."

"I've taken a lot of hits," she explains. "It has been hard. If I can tell my story and help 20 people, then it doesn't matter about the 10 people to my right who judge me. That's my job. God wants me to inspire people. They can see what I've been through."

"Side Effects of You," released in April, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, earning 91,000 in first-week sales.

Nicki Minaj Names Lil' Kim Among Favorite Female Emcees

Frazer Harrison, Getty Images Nicki Minaj may have beef with veteran rhymer Lil' Kim but that doesn't take away from the influence she has on her. During her sitdown at Hot 97 earlier this week, the Young Money artist revealed the names of the female rappers she admired on the come-up. Just four names made her list: Lauryn Hill, Remy Ma, Foxy Brown and Lil' Kim. "When Remy came out, I was very, very excited about her," the wig-wearing head Barb told Hot 97 jock Peter Rosenberg. "With Foxy, Kim, and Remy, they were all from New York too, but it's no disrespect to any other female rappers, but those are the ones that I felt like, 'Yeah, I could get into that.'" ...

Once she heard their music, Minaj was able to identify with them. "They sounded like me when I spoke," she revealed. "I just thought they made an impact."

The late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Missy Elliott were also female artists that the Queens native looked to for inspiration. "I always loved Missy 'cause she was playful and I always said, Missy and Left Eye, they weren't afraid to be goofy at times and I loved that as well," Minaj stated.

Currently, Nicki Minaj is at work on her third album. "I've just been getting back to that place where I was right before I dropped my first album, which is kill everything," the 30-year-old said.

Look for her to possibly perform this weekend at Hot 97's Summer Jam XX, where she is rumored to take the stage with French Montana, with whom she collaborated with on the reggae-tinged "Freaks."

French Montana's 'Excuse My French' Makes Top 5 Billboard Debut

The Bronx native's LP totaled 56,000 in its first week out. That number earns him a No. 4 position on the chart. Elsewhere, Montana lands atop both Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Rap Albums charts. Hit songs like "Pop That" (his tribute to Miami bass) and "Freaks" (his reggae-infused track with Nicki Minaj) attributed to the album's success. Plus, appearances from Drake, Ne-Yo, Rick Ross, Raekwon and Lil Wayne added to its climb up the charts. ...

Montana's effort took the spot where Jay-Z's executive produced-project "The Great Gatsby" sat. The soundtrack moved down a notch to No. 5, with 54,000 units sold -- to-date the total is 286,000 after three weeks.

Chief Keef Arrested for Speeding

Instagram Chief Keef was arrested earlier this week for speeding in Chicago. His trouble with the law comes just seven days after his prior arrest for marijuana possession in Atlanta. TMZ reports that the Chi-town rapper was driving a 2011 BMW X6 M on Winnetka Rd., in Northfield, Ill., around 3:45 AM on Monday (May 29). He clocked in at 110 mph while speed limits in that area are 55 mph. ...

Police pulled over Keef, who had three passengers in the ride with him. Since the "I Don't Like" performer only has a permit and not a valid driver's license, he's only allowed to have one passenger in the vehicle.

He was taken into police custody and cited for speeding and exceeding the number of passengers in the car. Keef is expected to return to court to face his charges on June 17.

Andre 3000's Mother Found Dead

Bryan Bedder, Getty Images On Monday, Andre 3000 celebrated his 38th birthday. However, the moment was not a joyous occasion because his mother unexpectedly passed away on the same day. His mother, Sharon Benjamin-Hodo, was reportedly found dead in her Atlanta home. Billboard.com reports that her death was confirmed by a representative for the OutKast member but no details regarding how she died have been released. ...

Benjamin-Hodo was noted for her work with underprivileged children. She founded the Starlight Camp to continue her efforts. The foundation is run out of the New Morning Light Mission BaptistChurch in Conley, Ga. Her husband, Pastor Robert Hodo runs services at the church.

A rep for the rapper, born Andre Benjamin, requests that supporters give to his mother's the Starlight Camp rather than send flowers.

Chris Brown Won't Take Blame for Hit and Run

The "Turn Up the Music" crooner reportedly rear-ended a Mercedes while driving in Los Angeles and refused to offer up his driver's license information when requested by the other driver. But apparently those reports are untrue, with sources close to Brown informing TMZ that he did everything in his power to help out, including give his correct information to the other driver and even had his lawyer reach out to discuss the matter. ...

Brown's lawyer has attempted to contact the driver of the Mercedes several times to no avail, TMZ reports. A photo obtained by the tabloid site shows the back of the vehicle Brown hit, however no damage is visible.

Always one to use his social platforms like Twitter as a sounding board, the entertainer has yet to comment on the issue.

Big Boi's Injury Forces Him to Cancel Date on Shoes for Running Tour

The OutKast member was performing in Illinois on Sunday night (May 26) when he hurt his leg. He shared the news and a photo of himself on crutches through his Tumblr page. "Injured my leg on stage yesterday , headed to the A for some test #TooTurntUp #Turndownforwhat #weoutchea," he wrote. ...

As a result of the mishap, Sir Luscious Left Foot had to cancel a show in St. Louis. "Currently on his headlining Shoes For Running tour, rapper Big Boi of Outkast has injured his leg while performing yesterday forcing him to cancel his St. Louis show today," a rep for the rapper said in a statement issued to RapFix. "Currently going through testing, Big Boi apologizes to his St. Louis fans for canceling the show."

There is no word yet on the seriousness of Big Boi's injury.

Emilio Rojas Debuts 'Tomorrow Never Comes' Video

YouTube Rapper Emilio Rojas is tackling the age old question of "What would I do?" in the visual for his new track, "Tomorrow Never Comes." Spitting rhymes from a New York City rooftop, Rojas thinks about some of the activities he would partake in if there really wasn't another day in his future, like finding his father or giving his mother one last kiss. "They say that nothing's ever promised / Gotta keep the ones around me that are honest / 'Cause is there any guarantee that you gon' get it cause you want it, right / And my abuela's getting old, I need to see her/ Before she up and leave us cause she off to meet the reaper," he raps. ...

He hits the streets with heavy thoughts on his mind, faces his past while looking through old photos and immerses himself under water in a bathtub in an effort to escape reality.

"Tomorrow Never Comes" is featured on Emilio Rojas' upcoming project, "No Shame, No Regrets."

Nicki Minaj and Peter Rosenberg Call a Truce on Hot 97

Last year, the entertainer canceled her appearance at Hot 97's Summer Jam concert due to radio jock Peter Rosenberg's opinionated comments regarding her pop-drenched song "Starships." He didn't like the track and let the world know during a live stream of the event. Once she caught wind of his words, a war raged on with the rapper calling him out in interviews and via Twitter. Now the two have made amends through a fitting platform: inside Hot 97 studios. ...

Earlier today, Minaj sat down for an interview with Rosenberg and Ebro for the H07 97 morning show. The discourse could've gotten very heated but the "High School" rhymer informed listeners that she's no longer fazed about the situation but in hindsight wished she would've performed for her fans. "It's water under the bridge," she told Rosenberg. " I can't even act like I care anymore."

For those unaware of his actions, Rosenberg described how he was hosting the Hot 97 festival stage in 2012, and took aim at Minaj's "Starships" for being mainstream and not a good indication of what hip-hop sounds like. As the conversation moved forward, he apologized for how his comments turned into a snowball effect. "I am sorry that things went as left as they did," he stated. " I never had ill feelings about you as a human being ever. I never would have ever dissed you in any personal way ever beyond my sort of distaste for that song."

Nicki Minaj may very well grace the Summer Jam XX stage for a surprise performance. The event takes place June 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Kelly Rowland Taps Beyonce, Michelle Williams for 'You Changed'

While all three show off their vocals on the effort, this isn't an actual D.C. treat. Rowland tapped the two ladies to appear on the track, which is featured on her upcoming album, "Talk a Good Game." Nonetheless, they sound better than ever. "I really hate to see that look on your face/ You're looking like someone came and rained on your parade," Rowland sings. "When my tears dried, where the hell were you/ But it's OK boy I've changed and I ain't been that way." ...

Beyonce chimes in and let's her ex-guy know she's good without him. "And If you think I'll waste more tears boy you're crazy/ Maybe you should get yourself admitted, don't delay/ You let the ball drop, too bad for you," she delivers.

"If our love was a game, you just lost," Williams adds.

"Talk a Good Game," Rowland's fourth LP, arrives June 18.

Chief Keef Receives Apology From Katy Perry

Facebook Will Chief Keef accept an apology from one of pop music's biggest stars? That's the question of the hour. Earlier this week, Katy Perry took to Twitter to share her annoyance over hearing the rapper's track "Hate Bein' Sober." "Just heard a new song on the radio called "I hate being sober" I now have serious doubt about the world," Perry wrote. ...

Keef was informed of the singer's disapproval and didn't take her opinion too lightly.
"Dat bitch Katy Perry Can Suck Skin Off Of my D-," he wrote Thursday (May 23). "Ill Smack The S- out her."

The Chicago native also disclosed that some new material in the form of a diss track would be on the way. "New Song Katy Perry Coming Soon," Keef tweeted.

Perry has now come forward with an apology of sorts. She relied on Twitter once again to share her words.

"Mr. Keef! I'm sorry if I offended you. I heard a lot of people guesting on the song & didn't even know it was you in particular. Actually...," the pop star tweeted. "I'm a fan of your "Don't Like" video tbh. I was really just having a general opinion on our generations desire to be constantly intoxicated."

She went on to explain that she was a "lover not a hater."

No comment from Chief Keef yet on whether or not he'll be accepting Perry's apology.

The southern spitter revealed the news via Twitter. "FEATURES ON HAULT... NEW ALBUM ON THE WAY SEPTEMBER TENTH!!!!" he tweeted. By the use of all caps, it's apparent Deuce is excited about the Sept. 10 release date ...

For now he'll be putting a pause on all feature work, however, a 2 Chainz album without any collaborations seems highly unlikely.

His new LP is currently untitled.

Debuting at No. 1 last summer on the Billboard 200 chart, 'Based on a T.R.U. Story' sold 147,000 units in its first week. Last year, he earned a Best Rap Album Grammy nomination for the project.

The rapper has also moved outside of music into acting. He appeared on an episode of the TV sitcom "2 Broke Girls" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" earlier this year.

Mariah Carey's Dress Busts Open During 'GMA' Performance

Walker, Getty Images Mariah Carey gave viewers across the nation a surprising morning hello when she experienced a wardrobe malfunction during the "Good Morning America" Summer Concert Series. The revered songstress was decked out in a pink Versace dress as she sang hits like "We Belong Together" and "Always Be My Baby" in front of an audience at New York City's Central Park. While taking a break between songs, she spoke with "GMA" host Lara Spencer and announced that her dress had popped open in the back. ...

She spun around for the crowd to see as her handlers rushed to fix the problem. "I love you Donatella, but it popped, darling," she jokingly said, referring to the dress designer. Carey held the front of her ensemble close to her breasts so she wouldn't suffer another mishap in the "Central Park Saga," as she called it.

Later on, she performed her new track, "#Beautiful" alongside crooner Miguel, but that didn't happen so smoothly either. Before Miguel took the stage with her, Carey let out an "Oh, s---!" while situating herself in a chair, kicking off her high heels.

After all was done, she thanked her fans for their support. "#Lambily!!! Thank you for standing in the rain while I was dealing with the ensem drama etc. I love you so much!" she tweeted.

Fat Joe Brings Future Along for 'Love Me Long Time'

Joey Crack dotes on his woman but questions if she'll be around even if the funds are not. "Papi love you long time, girl/ Smokin' on Jamaican, that's that uptown girl/ Gave you keys to that drop/ 100 G's just to shop/ Bal Harbour to the harbor diving off of them yachts," he raps. ...

Future adds his signature Auto-Tuned croon on the chorus and then serves a verse questioning his lady's intentions. Andreas Rentz, Getty Images Janet Jackson can make a remix to Lil Wayne's "A Milli" and title her track "A Billi" since that's just what she is now: a billionaire. The revered pop star earns the title as a result of her 10 albums, handful of tours and various roles in films. ...

Variety reports that Jackson brought in a cool $260 million in album sales - 1986's "Control," 1993's "janet." And 1989's "Rhythm Nation 1814."

For her roles in movies such as "Poetic Justice," "For Colored Girls," "The Nutty Professor" and "The Klumps," she's put $304 million into her bank account.

She also scored $81 million for music and publishing fees. World tours, which were sold-out, gave her another $458 million. Add an additional $81.5 million to that for licensing fees and tour sponsorships.

The 47-year-old entertainer is among the likes of Madonna and Oprah Winfrey who are also billionaires. Jackson's husband, Wissam Al Mana is also part of the club.

Rick Ross and Birdman Debut Joint Project, 'The H: The Lost Album, Vol. 1'

The Maybach Music Group leader and the Cash Money head honcho deliver their signature rhymes for 11 tracks. DJ Khaled hosts the effort, giving motivational shouts throughout the project. ...

For the cinematic sounds of "Flashy Cars Movie Stars," Birdman commences with some boastful talk that serves as a spoken word showcase. "Swag on 100, bitch game terrific. Size me up guarantee you'll lose, n----. It's bigger than life, boy. Mastermind a masterpiece. Hard life living," he exclaims.

On the haunting "Addicted," Rozay and Baby touch on their addiction to cash and women. "Addicted to money, I'm addicted to chips/ My h-- is gay now she addicted to d---/ Addicted to this, addicted to that/ I'm getting' them stacks, it's more addictive than crack," Ross rhymes.

YMCMB's Gudda ("Justice"), Mack Maine ("Money to Make") and Kevin Rudolf ("Don't Hustle Again") add verses to the lost album.

After Rick Ross' controversial molly lyrics on the track received national attention, it seemed to grow even more popular. Adding a fresh spin on the effort, Black Hippy delivers a new version for the masses. The foursome of Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul released the track to support the good kid, m.A.A.d city tour, which began this week. Lamar headlines and his crew will also take the stage, in addition to fellow West Coast native Kid Ink. ...

"I f---ed up the rap game you ain't even know it/ I just f---ed what's her name and you ain't even know it," Lamar spits at the song's start.

Kid Ink Sets Release Date for 'Almost Home' EP, Touring With Kendrick Lamar

The Los Angeles native will debut the 'Almost Home' EP, a collection of five new songs and a remix of his current track "Bad Ass." The tattooed rhymer has already worked with the likes of Meek Mill and Wale on the aforementioned track. A$AP Ferg and French Montana will also appear on the EP, featured on a song called "Bossin' Up." The track is produced by Lifted, the same beatmaker who crafted Kanye West and his G.O.O.D. Music crew's "Mercy." ...
This year is proving to be a great one for Kid Ink. He recently revealed his addition to Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city tour. The Black Hippy crew - Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q and Kendrick - will be performing together on the trek as well.

The tour kicked off May 22 in Las Vegas at the Cosmopolitan and closes June 26 in Mesa, Ariz., at the Mesa Amphitheatre.

Kelly Rowland Reschedules Lights Out Tour

Jeff Bottari, Getty Images Kelly Rowland's new gig has caused her to cancel and reschedule dates on her Lights Out tour with The-Dream. The "Talk a Good Game" creator has just been added as a judge on the U.S. version of "The X Factor." Due to the demands of this new job, she won't be able to commit to the demanding touring schedule. ...

Set to begin tonight in Minneapolis and end in June, now Rowland won't be performing at many of the original 22 dates. There are only five dates included in the revised Lights Out tour. She'll grace the stage in Washington, D.C. on May 26, Baltimore on May 28, New York City on May 30, Philadelphia on May 31, and Mashantucket on June 2.

The "Kisses Down Low" songstress revealed the news to her fans in a note via Instagram. "Although the tour had to be rescheduled because of 'X Factor,' I'm looking forward to bringing you guys a bigger and better show!" she wrote. "I can't wait to see each and every one of you guys on the road."

The change will also affect The-Dream's schedule. However, he was supportive of his tourmate's decision. "First, I want to wish my friend Kelly congratulations on her new gig at 'X Factor,'" the crooner explained. "Unfortunately, we have to change some tour dates which has been extremely hard for me and for Kelly. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at a later date. But in support of "IV Play," I will find the time to come to some of the cities left out to the best of my ability, if only to be in front of the fans that support us. So request this with your local radio stations and I'll be there. I'm amped and ready!"

Rowland will also perform at Riverfest in Little Rock, Arkansas, on May 25 and at Caribbean Fashion Week in Kingston, Jamaica on June 8.

Birdman Welcomes Paris Hilton to Cash Money Roster

Recently, Hilton appeared in the video for Rich Gang's "Tapout," which featured Christina Milian as her partner-in-crime. Now her cameo makes even more sense considering Rich Gang is headed by Birdman. ...

The Cash Money Records head honcho announced the news via Twitter today. "Welcome@ParisHilton to tha Family.RichgangRichgirl.YMCMB," he wrote. However, he wasn't the first to spill the beans.

A columnist broke news of the signing in his Showbiz 411. He spoke with Hilton about her upcoming album on the hip-hop label. Set to arrive this summer, Afrojack will produce the project and she already has a song with Lil Wayne.

Rap fans shouldn't be too disappointed in her union with Cash Money considering she's not going the hip-hop route. "This is a lot different than my first album," she explained. "It's really going to be house music."

Hilton's first album, "Paris," was released in 2006. She worked with Fat Joe and Jadakiss on the song "Fightin' Over Me."

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's Baby Shower Invite Is Top-Notch

Never one to do anything less than stellar, the couple's invitation for the event is a major production. TMZ issued the first image of the flashy invite, which is a music box. There's no standard card-in-an-envelope invite here. Once opened up, a ballerina spins around playing a lullaby version of West's "Hey Mama," a song featured on his sophomore album, "Late Registration." ...

Inside the box, the invitation is "honoring" Kim Kardashian as the star of the baby shower. Her mother Kris Jenner, sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian-Odom, and Shelli Azoff -- Jenner's best friend and wife of West's former manager Irving Azoff -- will be hosting the swanky affair.

Kardashian has invited Beyonce to the "ladies' brunch," and West is expected to show up, Us Weekly reports.

Arrest Warrant Issued for 'Dead' Rapper Tim Dog

YouTube An arrest warrant has been issued for a "dead" rapper. Bronx native Tim Dog, who found fame in the early '90s with his controversial song "F--- Compton," is being sought by police after a Mississippi judge granted the warrant because a woman claims he faked his own death. Tim Dog, born Timothy Blair, was convicted of grand larceny for scamming money from Esther Pilgrim in 2011. She accused the rhymer of taking her money, which totaled $32,000. In addition to Pilgrim, other women came forward to claim he conned them out of money, totaling $2 million. ...

On Feb. 14, Tim Dog, 46, reportedly died from a battle with diabetes. However, Pilgrim believes he's still alive. A prosecutor in Mississippi wants proof of his death.

"I need proof," said prosecutor Steven Jubera. "I need a death certificate showing that's he's dead because as far as I'm concerned, he's alive."

Earlier this week, Jubera, in conjuction with the Desoto County DA's Office, filed a petition with a judge to have Tim Dog's probation revoked. He was scheduled to make monthly payments to the court following his conviction, however, once he was reported dead, the payments stopped.

"I believe he was so angry that he had to pay me back," Pilgrim explained.

While his death made headlines, news of a funeral did not. "Nobody said where he died, nobody said where he was buried, which is very odd for an obituary," Jubera stated.

Ultramagnetic MCs' member Ced Gee, a longtime friend of Tim Dog, revealed that he refused to speak at his funeral because apparently no death certificate could be provided by the family. As a result, Ced Gee believes no funeral occurred.

If Tim Dog's family members show proof of his death, prosecutor Jubera will drop the arrest warrant.

J. Cole Performs 'Born Sinner' on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,' Reveals Competitive Spirit Against Kanye West

NBC J. Cole returned to the stage on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" last night, adding some new flavor to his track "Power Trip" by performing alongside the Roots. Dressed in a leather color block sweatshirt, the Roc Nation rapper moved through the track, which touches on a love spell a woman has on him. ...

"Got me up all night, all I'm singing is love songs/ She got me up all night, constant drinking and love songs," he raps. A Roots member filled in for Miguel, singing the chorus for the artist, who wasn't present for his part. "Would you believe me if I said I'm in love/ I want you to want me," he croons.

"Power Trip," which currently sits at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, will appear on Cole's sophomore LP, "Born Sinner." The rhymer moved the release of the project up one week to compete with Kanye West, whose sixth studio album, "Yeezus," arrives June 18.

"Instantly the lightbulb [turned on]... it got real," J. Cole told Billboard about the album release date decision. "I made one phone call to somebody that would know, just to make sure first. As soon as I got it confirmed, I was like, 'Yo...' The idea hit me instantly: 'You got to go to that date.'"

The North Carolina native is "confident" in his forthcoming LP, which means he won't allow the project to become an afterthought. "I'm not going to sit [here]... I worked too hard to come a week later after Kanye West drops an amazing album," he reveals. "It'd be like, 'Oh and J.Cole dropped too, a week later.' Nah. I'm going to go see him on that date. He's the greatest. So it's like, I'm a competitor by nature so it was instant, it wasn't even a thought."

June 18 will also be a big day for Mac Miller, whose sophomore effort, "Watching Movies With the Sound Off," debuts, as well as for Kelly Rowland, whose fourth album, "Talk a Good Game," arrives.

T.I. and Lil Wayne Lead a High-Speed Chase in 'Wit Me' Video

Beyonce Releases New Anthem, 'Grown Woman'

The R&B superstar's highly anticipated new track, "Grown Woman," has leaked in full and the effort is an anthemic work of art. Produced by Timbaland and co-written by The-Dream, the driving tribal beat finds Mrs. Carter boasting about her achievements as she sings "I put it down like that" and "I'm makin' all these racks." ...

"I'm a grown woman, I can do whatever I want / I can be badder if I want / I can say what I want / I can live fast if I want / I can go slow all night long," the 31-year-old entertainer exclaims.

The song was originally heard in Beyonce's Pepsi commercial, released last month. 'Grown Woman' could very well appear on her forthcoming fifth album.

Chief Keef Arrested for Marijuana Possession

Instagram Chief Keef is all too familiar with a jail cell. Just two months ago, the "Love Sosa" rapper was in a juvenile detention facility and yesterday, he was arrested in Georgia, placing him back behind bars. The Chicago native was apparently smoking weed inside the LeMeridien Atlanta Perimeter hotel on Monday (May 20) when hotel security caught wind of the illegal activity. According to Dunwoody, Ga., police, security "observed smoke and a smell of marijuana from a room." ...

He was subsequently taken into police custody but did not resist arrest as was previously reported by other news outlets.

Born Keith Cozart, Keef announced his arrest via Twitter, once he was released from jail. "Jus Got Out Of Dekalb County jail In Atlanta Mad As f---," he wrote. The 17-year-old also placed his mugshot on his Instagram page.

In March, the rhymer, who recentlyjoined forces with Gucci Mane's Brick Squad movement, completed a 60-day sentence in connection with a weapons charge conviction. In January, he was originally set to receive 18 months probation for pointing a gun at Chicago cops. However, he was sent to juvenile detention after he violated the terms of his probation by shooting a gun during a Pitchfork video interview last year.

On the music front, Keef recently returned to the U.S., after recording new music with Kanye West in Paris. The collaboration will apparently find its way onto Yeezy's forthcoming "Yeezus" LP, due June 18.

Mary J. Blige Hit With $3.4 Million Tax Lien

According to TMZ, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul has been hit with a $3.4 million tax lien from the IRS. This amount adds to the $900,000 she still owes to the state of New Jersey. Apparently MJB failed to pay income taxes from 2009 to 2011. For 2009, she owes $574,907.30; for 2010, she must pay $2,203,743.53; and for 2011, the amount equals $647,604.60. Her total tax bill equals $3,426,255.43. ...

The "Be Without You" singer has a list of money woes to handle at the moment. Her back taxes owed to New Jersey equal $901,769.65 and she is currently being sued for reportedly defaulting on a $2.2 million bank loan.

Also, the charity that she founded alongside Steve Stoute -- the Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now - is at the center of a lawsuit. TD Bank is suing the foundation for a $250,000 loan that was never repaid.

"Mary has been and is continuing to work with her new team to resolve all these issues as quickly as possible," a rep for the singer tells TMZ.

Blige herself has yet to comment on the matter.

T.I. Taps Lil Wayne for 'Wit Me'

Kevin Winter, Getty Images T.I. and Lil Wayne are teaming up once again, only this time they're not out to "Ball." The rapping duo join forces for "Wit Me." Released by Tip, the bouncy track commences with Weezy talking about what else: a woman's nether regions. "Put my d--- in your face/ Put my gun in your purse/ Put my work in your p----/ B---- don't come on the work," he raps. ...

"No catching me, these n----s in the game so sad to me/ I'm sure no one would care we put them out their misery/ No sympathy, no grief, uh huh, leave home with no heat," T.I. rhymes.

A visual for the boastful song will debut tonight at 10 p.m. on VEVO.

Weezy will head on tour with Tip for the America's Most Wanted Music Festival. The North American trek kicks off in Birmingham, Ala. on July 9 and wraps up on Sept. 1 in Irvine, Calif. Tickets are available through LiveNation.com.

Wale Releases New Song, 'LoveHate Thing'

Kevin Winter, Getty Images Sometimes your enemies are closer than you think, and such is the case for Wale, who's talking about just that on his new track, "LoveHate Thing." The soulful song, which is the second single from his third album, "The Gifted," details the Maybach Music Group rhymer's troubles with friends who wish for his downfall as he rises to the top. ...

"Love you then they hate you then they love you," he states before the track begins. "Hate you then they love you then they hate you."

"Ain't no love in the heart of city, that's what they told me," he continues. "Beef with over 100 n----s, don't none of them know me."

Producer Sam Dew's refreshing vocals round out the effort, which he also produced along with Stokley and Tone P.

"The Gifted," a follow-up to his 2011 LP, "Ambition," arrives June 25. The album also features his chart-climbing single "Bad."

The-Dream Teams Up With Kelly Rowland for 'Where Have You Been'

"Where Have You Been" is his newest offering, which also features Kelly Rowland, his Lights Out tourmate. "Promise me you'll make me better/ Promise me you're here for me/ Can you love me for what I am / Love me for what I can be," the Radio Killa coos. "You're nothing like the other girls." ...

The crooner goes on to detail how his lady love took her time finding him but he's satisfied she's finally in his arms.
"Ever since you came around I ain't been the same/ Saved my life and I owe it to you babe," Rowland sings. "Where have you been? I'm all f---ed up now/ It's all f---ed up now/ I'm so distraught."

She'll perform the ballad with The-Dream on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" later this evening.

"IV Play" features tracks like the title song, for which he recently filmed a video, the Jay-Z-assisted "High Art" and the Fabolous-featured "Slow It Down," among others.
