Getty Images In two separate lawsuits filed earlier this week, hip-hop producers Andrews "Drew" Correa and Marcos "Infamous" Rodriguez accuse Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment of failing to make royalty payments, TMZ reports. In his suit, Correa claims he signed with Young Money in 2008 and created music that later appeared on the Weezy albums Re-Birth, Tha Carter III and I'm Not a Human Being, as well as Birdman's Priceless. Rodriguez, meanwhile, inked his deal a year before Correa's and says he composed material that wound up on many of the same albums, as well as Tha Carter IV the 2009 We Are Young Money compilation. ...

The law offices of Singh, Singh and Trauben are reportedly on the case, helping Drew and Infamous recoup their cash, and reps for Young Money have yet to comment.

AP When Rihanna opened up to Oprah about her undying love for Chris Brown -- the vilified ex-boyfriend who beat her up on the eve of the 2009 Grammys -- the revelation left many fans and critics puzzled. Among them was comedian Joan Rivers, who's since instigated a Twitter war with the Bajan beauty. "Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown," Rivers tweeted. "Idiot! Now it's MY turn to slap her." Never one to back down from a good Twitter tussle, Ri responded with a dig against the 79-year-old comedy legend's age. "@Joan_Rivers wow u really do get slow when you're old huh?" Rihanna tweeted, later deleting the message. ...

"Slap on some diapers," she added in a follow-up post, which she's opted not to take down.

Taking the high road and ending -- one hopes -- the skirmish on a concerned note, Rivers explained that she's looking out for the singer's well-being. She might also be looking out for her ratings, as she invited Ri to appear on her E! show.

Last week, Wayne made a guest appearance at Nicki Minaj's free show at Roseland Ballroom, and he won't front like he didn't have fun. ...

It's hard to argue with the casting. Rozay plays the flamboyant promoter-manager -- a sort of Don King character, complete with fur coat -- while Carey slips into slinky dresses for her role as ringside eye candy. Mill stars as the fighter, swinging away with Rocky-esque determination. ...

The visuals arrive as Carey makes headlines for her alleged anger over Nicki Minaj being considered for the "American Idol" cast of judges. When she signed up for the show, Mariah was reportedly told she'd be the only female judge, and in the spirit of this clip, we at The BoomBox propose a solution: Mimi vs. Nicki, three rounds, winner take all. The triumphant party gets to rate wannabe singers on the hit Fox series, while the loser gets demoted to "America's Got Talent."

AP The tax drama continues for Lauryn Hill, who's in trouble again after pleading guilty to three counts of federal tax evasion in June. As TMZ reports, Hill has also been negligent on her New Jersey taxes, and she owes the state more than $440,000. In a civil judgment filed June 14, Garden State collectors are seeking $446,386 in unpaid taxes. That's on top of the $1.8 million she already owes Uncle Sam. As TMZ points out, the Jersey case is not yet a criminal matter, which is lucky, since the former Fugees star is facing three years in prison for her failure to file federal returns in 2005, 2006 and 2007. She's due in court for sentencing in November. ...

AP Jay-Z is a man of discriminating tastes, and he's evidently not so fond of what chef Mike Shand is cooking. According to the New York Post, reps for the rapper's 40/40 Club have hit Shand with a $1.5 million federal lawsuit, alleging that he "failed to perform on significant aspects" of a deal that went down earlier this year, when he was hired to revitalize the menu at Hova's fancy Manhattan sports bar. In the suit, Jay-Z and business partner Juan Perez accuse Shand of "costing the club lost profits, loss of good will [and] alienation of clientele." Shand -- who previously served as a personal chef for both Jay and his wife, Beyonce, during concert tours -- was brought on as part of 40/40's $10 million reopening. He now lives in California, according to court papers, and while he's yet to comment on suit, his lawyer, Vik Pawar, reaffirmed his culinary skills. ...

"Mike's a great chef, and it is unclear why 40/40 would contemplate a lawsuit against him," Pawar told the Post. Nevertheless, we will respond accordingly when he gets served with the complaint."

According to sources, Juvenile and his fellow brawlers were "creating a threat to life and property as well as the overall safety of the patrons inside." ...

The rapper, born Terius Gray, remained custody as of this morning, the gossip site reports.

AP Today is World Humanitarian Day, and that means two things. First, there's a new Beyonce video -- a live performance of "I Was Here" filmed earlier this month at the U.N. General Assembly. Bey dazzles in a form-fitting white dress, singing over footage of relief efforts around the globe, but she'd rather we not focus on the moving clip. This is a day for action, and the R&B superstar is urging fans to step away from their computers and go do some good in the world. To that end, she's partnered with the U.N. to launch a new Thunderclap website -- one aimed at sending "the biggest social media message in history." That message, as per the official blurb: "From major international humanitarian operations to handing out food to the homeless, however big or small, let's show the world that we believe in helping others." ...

Beyonce and company are hoping to reach 1 billion people, and the website features an interactive map that allows visitors to "place a pin" at the scenes of their good deeds and share the details of their efforts.

Not sure how to pitch in? The site features a list of possible activities -- everything from making sandwiches for the homeless to mowing a neighbor's lawn -- so there's no excuse not to get involved. Watch the "I Was Here" video below -- then get out there and help your fellow man.

"Suddenly I'm talking to him over federal phone calls," the rapper says of his incarcerated buddy. "My homey's father was a huge influence on my life, too . . . He was the one who was like, 'Yo, go get a job somewhere, man. Go be a fireman. Or go be a fucking corrections officer. Just go sit down somewhere." ...

Unfortunately -- or maybe fortunately, depending on what you think about these two superstars joining forces -- Eminem's manager, Paul Rosenberg, has taken to Twitter to deny that his client recorded with Gaga. "People don't hear from Marshall for a spell and they just start making stuff up," he tweeted. "Thirsty world!" ...

The ballyhoo began when several music sites reported that Slim had talked up the team-up with MTV RapFix, telling them he had cut "a crazy record with Gaga and Kendrick." Em purportedly described the tune as "real upbeat" and said it would surface after the sophomore album by the hip-hop supergroup Slaughterhouse.

That collection, Welcome to: Our House, is due out Aug. 28 on Em's own Shady Records, so even if this crazy song is on its way, we'll have to wait a few more weeks to hear it.

Over the weekend, amid reports he's being sued for more than $100,000 by a producer who claims he stole a beat, the Cali rapper told TMZ that the wedding he and fiancee Tiffney Cambridge cancelled back in July cost him $100,000. Game and Cambridge, who were planning to film their nuptials for a Vh1 reality show, have since reconciled and rescheduled the event, but doing so is going to set them back plenty. "Life is back on ... the wedding's on, my family is on," Game told the gossip site, according to Contact Music. "We lost about $100,000 in venue changes but it's all good. I got a lot of paper." ...

One thing about paper: It burns. Here's hoping Game keeps this summer's cash inferno from ravaging his bank account too badly.

With a combined income of $78 million, Jay and Bey top this year's World's Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples list, moving up one place from last year. Beyonce reportedly edged out her husband, making $40 million to his $38 million. That's an impressive sum, considering the singer took off a good chunk of the year to give birth to the pair's first child, Blue Ivy Carter. Luckily, she earns mad bank through royalties and endorsements, and her last album went platinum in the United States. No wonder she can afford to splurge on private jets. ...

Jay, meanwhile, cashed in on his Watch the Throne album and tour, and he's also profited heavily from numerous business ventures, among them the ad agency Translation.

Next on the list are model Gisele Bundchen and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who pulled in $72 million. From there, it's a pretty big falloff to third-place finishers Victoria and David Beckham, who only kicked enough soccer balls and sold enough clothing to earn $54 million.

Rounding out the list are perennial Hollywood "it" couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ($45 million) and Will and Jada Pinkett Smith ($40 million).

Last month, the rapper was hit with a $200,000 lawsuit in connection with a string of scrapped Canadian dates, and last week, a judge in Australia ordered him to pay more than $400,000 to organizers of a festival he pulled out of last October, the Sydney Morning Herald reports. Flo, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, reportedly waited until after he was due onstage to inform honchos at Newcastle's Fat As Butter festival that he would not be performing. "Flo Rida has slept in and will not be able to make the concert," organizers told an audience of 11,000 fans, many of whom had dropped $110 for a ticket. ...

Mothership Music, the company behind Fat As Butter, sued Flo Rida and his management company for both breach of contract and damages. Neither the Florida MC nor his reps attended the hearing, and the judge awarded the plaintiffs $380,400 in damages and $37,745 in legal fees.

"All of these angry patrons demanded a refund, sometimes in confronting language, such as: 'You guys didn't deliver what you advertised and I paid for,'" said Judge Judith Gibson. "People spoke of being 'angry,' feeling 'ripped off,' being told 'bullshit' and 'unfair and slack conduct.'"

Getty Images Just as Game gets his love life back on track, legal troubles are putting a damper on his summer. As TMZ reports, producer Marco Rodriguez, better known as Infamous, is suing the rapper for more than $100,000 over a beat he says he wasn't paid for. Infamous claims Game used one of his backing tracks to create the song "Skate On," which appears on his free California Republic mixtape. The producer apparently sent him the beat back in 2010 -- which he was more than willing to do, since they'd worked together before -- but never heard back about a possible deal. ...


The lawsuit comes some three months after Infamous sent a letter to Game seeking payment. The rapper never responded, and while the producer generally earns between $20,000 and $25,000 per tune, he's gunning for damages that will push this lawsuit into six-figure territory.

Game has yet to respond to the allegations.

After winning a gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics, besting his competition in the 400-meter individual medley, Lochte stood atop the podium wearing a shiny star-spangled grill. Lotche bought the bejeweled mouthpiece from Wall and business partner Johnny Dang, who run a custom grill operation, and as photos of Lochte's patriotic grin spread around the world, the Houston rhymer and tooth jeweler earned some invaluable publicity. ...

"For him to represent us and our culture, the grill culture, it's just shining a light on hip-hop in the Olympics," Wall told XXLMag.com. "Everyone's talking about it ... it's just an incredible thing to be part of. I'm just honored to be part of it. There's not too many world-class swimmers wearing our grill."

Lochte was apparently told that donning the dental bling would prevent him from collecting his medal, so he played it gangsta-style and popped it in after he'd been handed his medal.

The swimmer is a known grill enthusiast, and having purchased a standard model in the past, he commissioned the custom American flag design for the London Games. Valued at between $15,000 and $25,000, the grill contains VS diamonds and red rubies, each of which Wall says were set by hand.

"Of course we gave him the Olympic discount," Wall told XXL, adding that any U.S. athlete who wins gold from here on out gets a free gold grill.

As the accompanying video illustrates, that can mean different things to different people. In the clip, a Dre Films production, Rozay and company intersperse footage of their career highlights with images of President Obama, Martin Luther King Jr., the L.A. riots and classic gangster movies. The montage is entirely black and white, but the message about what it means to be black and successful in America is anything but. ...

The visuals open with Dre, seen riding in bouncing Chevys, collecting industry awards, chilling with Snoop, getting buff in the gym and enjoying the company of well-proportioned women. "I only love it when her hair long," he raps at one point, just before turning from sex to commerce. "You should listen to this beat through my headphones."

Next up is Ross, who uses shots of the Rodney King riots to underscore lyrics about having a Crip for a cousin. When he gets to that line about dreams coming true, we're hit with snippets of the Obama family onstage.

Last up his Jay, seen lounging with Beyonce, smoking cigars, collecting Banksy paintings and generally enjoying the spoils of his superstardom. The path he, Dre and Rozay opted for may not be the only way to the top, but it certainly got them there, and it makes for some compelling viewing.

The two have butted heads recently over the latter's showbiz aspirations, as auntie Janet evidently thinks her niece should enjoy her childhood, but there's obviously way more to the story than that. "Following the incident, it was learned that one of the family members who was part of the ambush admitted that a plan has been in place for the last three years to remove Katherine Jackson from her home and her beloved grandchildren," reads the statement from Katherine's lawyers. ...

Depending on which member of the Jackson family you believe, Katherine Jackson -- matriarch and mother of Michael, Janet and the rest of the gang -- is either missing or resting comfortably in Arizona. As TMZ reports, one of Katherine's nephews reported her missing with the L.A. County Sheriff's Department last night (July 21). Her grandchildren have apparently not heard from her in a week, and taking to Twitter earlier this morning, Paris Jackson, the 14-year-old daughter of Michael, voiced her concern for the 82-year-old. "yes , my grandmother is missing . i haven't spoken with her in a week i want her home now," Paris tweeted, adding in a follow-up post that anyone with information on Katherine's whereabouts should call (818) 876-0186. ...

Paris' tweets come days after Jermaine used the social network to deflect rumors about Katherine and insist his mother is doing just fine.

"I want to reassure everyone (inc all sudden medical experts) that Mother is fine but is resting up in AZ on the orders of a doctor, not us," Jermaine tweeted.

"Outsiders, from Alan Duke to TMZ "sources", can clutch at straws all day long but no-one can tell us about events concerning our own mother," he wrote in another post.

All this contradictory tweeting comes at a time of tremendous family drama, even by Jackson standards. Last week, Randy, Jermaine, Tito, Rebbie and Janet Jackson issued a letter accusing the executors of Michael's estate of faking documents, and Katherine is said to be at the center of the family squabble.

What's more, Janet has spoken out against niece Paris' burgeoning acting career, insisting her brother wouldn't have wanted her to get involved in show business so young.

As far as legal matters are concerned, this hasn't been a great summer for Flo Rida. Last month, he was fined $7,000 by a Florida judge for lying about his slow response time to paperwork stemming from another lawsuit -- this one filed by a former employee who claims she was fired after complaining about shoddy wages.

The Jacksons, of course, are no strangers to "huge disputes," but when Janet says, "You're only a child once," she's speaking from experience. Maybe young Paris should listen to what her aunty has to say.

His methods involve donning a fedora and blazer and dancing it up Michael Jackson-style, all the while singing lines like, "I just wanna be the one to remind what it is to smile/ I would like to show you what true love can really do." ...

It seems to work, as Ne-Yo does plenty of smooching with his hottie costar. He also busts plenty of killer moves, which is to be expected, given the track's radio-friendly four-to-the-floor club beat. Consider this a contender for song of the summer.

AP Jennifer Lopez is done playing judge on "American Idol," but she might have a future as a casting consultant, AOL Music reports. In a recent interview with ABC News, J. Whoever gets the gigs might not be there long. Speaking with Ryan Seacrest, "Idol" creator Nigel Lythgoe said the days of keeping judges for multiple seasons are likely over, since major stars require huge salaries and often have other career commitments.

"There are so many names coming at me at the moment," he said. "I joke about it and say, 'Oh, I'm looking for the Three Stooges or Jerry Lewis.' But at the end of the day, I think what we've seriously got to talk about is just using people for a year."

Other folks who don't forgive: Zons P.R., a U.K. company suing the rapper, his sister and his manager for nearly $2 million over a cancelled Nigeria concert last year. In paperwork filed earlier this month in the Supreme Court of New York, the British firm claims to have paid Rozay $87,500 to promote the Star Mega Jam, an annual Nigerian concert that draws upwards of 50,000 fans, AllHipHop.com reports. Zons alleges that Ross failed to carry out his promo duties, and that when he ultimately cancelled his performance, citing "the violent events in Nigeria" as the reason he wouldn't appear at the December 2011 show, he failed to return the money he'd been paid. ...

The company reportedly tried to get back its deposit, and when the Maybach Music boss wouldn't fork it over, they attempted to book him for another performance. That apparently didn't work either -- hence the lawsuit.

"In truth and in fact the defendant had no intention of returning said deposit," Zons' filing reads. "To date no part of the deposit has been returned."

While Kile's mother -- Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster -- still hopes her son will recover from last week's tragic jet ski accident, a mishap in Atlanta's Lake Lanier that left him brain dead, she may have to pull the plug as early as next month, according to the gossip site. The insurance company evidently hasn't set a fixed deadline, but source say coverage will run for a "a couple months ... tops." Usher has apparently provided moral support for his ex and her family, but TMZ claims the R&B superstar hasn't offered to pay for medical expenses. Foster apparently doesn't view the singer as "a viable financial option." ...

Usher helped raise Kile for several years prior to the couple's divorce in 2009. Usher and Foster have been at odds ever since, though he's said to have chartered her a plane in the aftermath of the accident and rushed to Atlanta to join the family at the hospital.

Tim Mosenfelder, Getty Images DMX was hospitalized earlier today after crashing his four-wheeler outside of his home in South Carolina, TMZ.com reports. As per the gossip site, X was out for a morning ride when he lost control and flipped the vehicle over, landing on his backside. The Yonkers rapper tells TMZ his memories of the accident are a bit foggy, and that all he remembers are the lights from the ambulance. This mishap marks the MC's second trip to the hospital this year, as he was admitted back in January with food poisoning. ...

It's not yet known when he'll be released, but the TMZ photo suggests he's doing OK. As he explains in his latest single, "I Don't Dance," his degree of gangsta-ness allows him to simply nod his head to the beat, so even if he's too banged up to bust a move, he should be set.

Arnold Turner, WireImage Young Buck is heading to prison for 18 months after being convicted of weapons charges, MSNBC.com reports. The Nashville rapper was sentenced to three years, but the judge has ordered him to serve his two counts concurrently, meaning he'll be out in half the time. "WIth the judge not considering my history to subtract some time, I'm just thankful for what time I do have," Buck told a local TV station. The "Straight Outta Cashville" rhymer was arrested in August 2010 following an IRS raid and charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. He's since faced other hardships, including an ongoing bankruptcy case -- many of his belongings will be auctioned off later this month -- and a March shooting that left his girlfriend wounded and SUV riddled with gun holes. ...

"I've had some rough times," Buck said. "I've been fighting the bankruptcy situation, and there were some court situations."

Given the luck he's been having on the outside, jail might not be so bad.
