Bench Warrant Issued for an Incarcerated Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne started serving his one year prison sentence at Rikers Island in New York last week, but that didn't stop an Arizona judge from issuing a bench warrant for the troubled rapper. According to the Associated Press, a Yuma Country Superior Court Judge issued the warrant after Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Carter, didn't to appear in court for a final trial management conference. The case stems from a January 2008 incident where Lil Wayne's tour bus was stopped at a border check point in Arizona, 78 miles east of Yuma and police claim they found cocaine, ecstasy and a handgun. Wayne was arrested and charged with possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia. He pleaded not guilty to all charges. ...James Tilson, Lil Wayne's attorney said that his client couldn't appear in court because he is already serving a one-year jail sentence. Tilson has filed a motion to have Lil Wayne's March 30 trial date vacated and requested that Wayne be able to appear in Yuma when he is sentence in New York is complete. He also asked that his bond remain the same amount.

"It doesn't appear that a trial will be occurring anytime withing the next eight to 12 months," Tilson the AP. Despite Tilson's request, Deann Sandry, a Yuma County prosecutor says Lil Wayne is now a convicted felon and that a bench warrant should be issued and his bond be increased to the sum of $150,000.

New 112 Album on the Way

After a five year hiatus and speculation that they had broken up, three members of the R&B group 112 have reunited to record a follow up to their 2005 release 'Pleasure & Pain.' Earlier this week group member Q Parker broke the news via his Twitter page, "In the studio wit my boy Mike and Daron! New 112 album comin soon!" In 2008, reports that 112 broke up surfaced following accusations from former group member Michael Keith that Quiness Parker and Daron Jones were taking unfair share of royalty checks. "I'm not sure what the status is of the other three members, but myself, I am no longer in 112," Keith said in an interview. "I had to leave because I found out that a certain member of the group took my publishing check. It was made clear that it was intended for myself and another member, Slim [Marvin Scandrick]." When asked if he would ever consider linking back up with 112, Michael Keith said, "I'm going to be honest with you and say I've grown and lived long enough to never say never, so if that was to happen in the future I will welcome it under the right circumstances." ...

Lil Wayne Guest Stars in Baby Mama Nivea's Video

With less than a week left before Lil Wayne's scheduled sentencing, the famed MC is definitely getting as much work done as he can. Weezy reportedly shot a record number of music videos in the last week; one in particular was for singer Nivea's new single 'Love Hurts.' The couple were once an item and now share a three-month-old son together named Neal. According to theybf.com, Lil Wayne agreed to appear in the video with just a two-day notice and was on set for close to two hours of the 12-hour shoot. In the video, which can be viewed after the jump, the rapper plays Nivea's love interest and the two share a number of steamy love scenes together. Throughout the video you mainly see side profiles and shots of Lil Wayne's back, but he finally reveals his face at the end of the video. ...

The track will appear on Nivea's tentatively titled 'Purple Heart' and is scheduled to drop in late Summer 2010. It will be the follow-up to her 2006 album 'Animalistic,' that was only released in Japan.

St. Louis Rapper J-Kwon Missing for More Than a Month

Gracie Productions is ready to release J-Kwon's new album on March 23, but there's only one problem -- the St. Louis rapper has gone missing. The record label released a statement this week stating they have not been able to reach the 24-year-old, born Jarrell Jones, in over a month. They have also urged friends and associates to send in tips and set up a Twitter page @WhereIsJkown to field updates. "J-Kwon is a big part of the Gracie family, and we are obviously increasingly worried and want to make sure he is ok," said label CEO/President Tony Bucher. "We've already received thousands of emails from fans and supporters who are worried about J-Kwon, and we want everyone to know how much we appreciate the love and support. If anyone has seen J-Kwon or has access to him, please let him know we are worried about him, and to please let us know everything is OK." ...

J-Kwon gained popularity in 2004 with the single 'Tipsy' off his debut album 'Hood Hop' released on So So Def Records. After signing with Gracie in early 2009, he released the follow-ups 'Hood Hop 2' and 'Hood Hop 2.5.' Prior to his disappearance, the single 'O' had been released in preparation of his forthcoming self-titled album.

Ne-Yo Detained in Norway After Brawl in Nightclub

The Norwegian publication VG Nett is reporting that singer/songwriter Ne-Yo was arrested in Oslo, Norway on Saturday (Feb. 27) after an alleged altercation between a member of his entourage and a bus boy. Following a performance at the Olso Spektrum, Ne-Yo and members of his entourage were at an after party at Emil & Samuel, a nightclub in downtown Olso when a massive fight broke out. While at the nightclub a patron was said to have walked by and grabbed a female partying with Ne-Yo which set off members of his entourage. A busy boy who was an innocent bystander was then punched in the face. Following the punch another member of the entourage allegedly ran into the kitchen of the club picked up a knife and began threatening people, but was eventually calmed down by an unknown person. ...

Ne-Yo and his entourage then proceeded to leave the club and another fight erupted after someone passing by caused another female part of entourage to fall. The singer was then detained and searched by Norwegian police, but eventually released.

"All in all this is an unfortunate situation involving the artist, Emil & Samuel and the concert management," said the owner of Emil & Samuel on Sunday.

Nas Facing Financial Woes With Tax Debt Up to $3.3 Million

Nas' financial woes continue to climb following his split from estranged wife and R&B singer Kelis, who filed for divorce last May. Last week, the Queens based MC pleaded not guilty to contempt of court after lawyer's for Kelis filed paperwork alleging that he owes over $200,000 in child support, spousal support and lawyers fees. The couple will appear in court next month for a contempt hearing and, if found guilty, Nas could do jail time. The judge overseeing the divorce proceedings said last Friday that it's starting to look like Nas is trying to evade court orders. Attorney's for the troubled rapper said he needs more time to prepare a defense that shows he isn't able to pay $51,000 a month in child and spousal support. Kelis and Nas have one son together. ...

In addition to facing financial issues surrounding his divorce from Kelis, it's also been reported that Nas owes the IRS a large sum of money. In October, a tax lien was placed on the rapper totaling $2.5 million dollars that has now ballooned to over $3.3 million dollars.

"Nas doesn't have a clue he's going under financially and doesn't understand he can go to jail if he doesn't pay child support," a source told TMZ. It's also been reported that Nas has been sending Kelis emails looking to reconcile, but Kelis has a new boyfriend and wants a divorce.

Faith Evans Sued Over Notorious B.I.G Home Footage

Faith Evans is at the head of a lawsuit from a documentary filmmaker that claims the R&B singer failed to distribute private home videos purchased of her late husband and rapper Notorious B.I.G. According to a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Kaushi Entertainment claims they paid $30,000 for home footage of Biggie -- real name is Christopher Wallace. The exchange was approved in written statements by Evans and other associates of the late rapper's estate. Executives at Kaushi say that although they paid-up, they never received the tapes and are now suing for $1 million dollars in punitive damages for breach of contract. ...

The Notorious B.I.G and Faith Evans were married in 1994 after meeting at a photo shoot. They had one son together, Christopher Wallace, Jr. in 1996. The couple had a turbulent marriage that led to Faith being at the center of an East Coast-West Coast feud that ended in Wallace's murder in 1997.

In related news, Evans is currently recording material for her highly anticipated sixth album. She also has a new reality series in the works, 'It's All About Faith,' that chronicles her return to the music scene after a five-year hiatus.

British Paper Accuses Jay-Z of Being Racist

Jay-Z's name is being associated in an alleged racist scandal that occurred following his Brit Award afterparty at London's Merah nightclub earlier this week. According to the U.K.'s Daily Star security refused VIP entrance to those who weren't black. One person in attendance said, "The security guards were happy to let in all party-goers apart from the white people." Jay-Z, who had taken home the Best International Male Solo Artist award earlier that evening, was said to be completely unaware of the situation. A friend of the rapper told the Daily Star, "He would not have been happy by the actions of those on the night." Kim Dawson, a reporter for the UK's Daily Star who was very upset by the parameters set for the VIP area also alleged that black people were allowed access to the VIP area while white party-goer's were immediately shunned. "I've been to countless showbiz bahses but never have I met meatheads like those at the Jay-Z [party]. Jay-Z is a megastar and yet it was clear white people were not welcome in his VIP area," Dawson said. "While the red rope was lifted for black guests to breeze through, let's just say it stayed down if your face didn't fit. I have never felt so intimidated. It left me feeling like a mauled dog." A representative for Jay-Z said they were not responsible for the security. Meanwhile, a PR rep for the nightclub said the owners were unaware of any problems and shocked to hear of the situation. ...

Waka Flocka Flame Agrees He Has No Lyrical Skills

Waka Flocka Flame has been labeled by critics as a rapper with "no lyrical skills" since the debut of his single 'O Let's Do It.' Surprisingly, the ATL based rapper agrees with his critics and says he doesn't have any intentions on becoming one. "I ain't got nothing to do with lyrics," Waka said in a recent interview with Shade 45. "I don't have time for lyrics. That's why I don't trip when n----- be like, 'Man, shawty can't rap.' The n----- that everyone say is lyrical they ain't got no shows. I been on tour for the last two years. I didn't get into rap to freestyle. I don't even care about selling records, as long as I get them shows for $15,000 four to five days out the week, I'm happy." ...

Despite admitting to being a subpar lyricists, Waka's shortcomings aren't putting a dent in his aspirations to continue making music. According to AllHipHop, the Gucciman protege has a goal to release twenty street albums by 2011.

"I don't think it's up to the artists to be like, 'I need to drop my album because I'm hot.' I feel like the people gotta be like, 'Shawty need to drop an album, f--- them mixtapes.' I don't feel like I deserve an album. I don't feel like I've put in enough work ... I'ma put out mixtapes. That's what I'm about. That's what got me poppin and I'm gonna live by that."

Sade Isn't Interested in Collaborating With Drake

The marriage between hip-hop and R&B has done wonders for artists over the years. Unfortunately, British soul singer Sade says the concept isn't something she's ready to commit to. Rapper Drake, who was very optimistic about the possibility of working with Sade on his upcoming album, 'Thank Me Later,' will now have to face the reality that the collaboration won't happen anytime soon. Drake told MTV last month, "The melody she [Sade] chooses to use and her voice, it has that dark, sexy feel that a lot of my music has. Hopefully there will be a great Drake and Sade record for the people to listen to, and hopefully it'll be one of the best decisions I've ever made." So much for wishful thinking. ...

In a recent interview Sade was asked about rumors of her working with the Canadian born rapper. "I don't think they have contacted me," she told Canada's National Post. "I've never collaborated because I've always avoided working outside my safety zone. I can be exactly who I am and can fail or succeed within the moment. I feel safe working like I do. I wouldn't want to work in a situation where I am expected to deliver, because I think I wouldn't deliver."

Nelly Gets Punched at Super Bowl Party

Rapper Nelly hasn't had a hit out in a while, but he managed to score one Super Bowl weekend. According to The New York Post, on Friday evening (Feb. 5) the St. Louis rapper was punched in the face by mistake when he attempted to break up a fight between his bodyguards and bouncers at Miami's LIV nightclub at the Fontainebleau. As Nelly was about to take the stage at the Pre-Super Bowl party "his security appeared to get into an argument with the hotel's security staff," a source said. "Nelly got in the middle and got punched by mistake. Then it spilled out of the back door and continued outside." No other information has been released reporting any further injuries. ...

In related news, during Super Bowl weekend Nelly appeared as an ESPN VIP correspondent at the magazine's Super Bowl party and got predictions from a list of celebrities in attendance. Winnie Mandela Protests Biopic Starring Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson may be excited about her upcoming title role as Winnie Mandela in the biopic 'Winnie,' but the former wife of South African anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela isn't. According to the Johannesburg's Star Newspaper, a letter from Mandela's attorneys states the noted South African figure is "extremely concerned" to hear about the film and says she was never approached for consent. "It is difficult to understand how a production bearing the name of an individual who has not been consulted at all," the letter read, "could ever be appropriate or tell the full story of that individual's life as media reports suggest this production is intended to." Winnie Mandela has been involved in a number of scandals since her divorce from Nelson Mandela in 1996. The film is likely to reveal allegations she was tied to the kidnapping and murder of a political activist and convicted of fraud in 2003. With that being said, it comes as no surprise that Winnie Mandela, who now goes by the name Ms. Madikizela-Mandela, may be opposed to having her story brought to life. ...

The films' producers, however, rebuffed with their own statement. "The position of the producers is that if a screenplay has to be approved by Ms. Madikizela-Mandela, then the film based on that screenplay could possibly be jeopardised as the world may question the credibility of the film." They also specified that they were not legally obliged to have Mandela's consent in order to move forward with the film.

While her disapproval has grabbed headlines, this is not the first time that 'Winnie' has been the center of controversy. Last year local South African actors where outraged after learning that Hudson had been tapped for the role. The actors complained that South African talent had again been overlooked by Hollywood.

The film, based on the independent biography 'Winnie Mandela: A Life' by Anne Marie du Preez Bezdrob, is scheduled to start shooting in May.

Tyrese Talks Upcoming Role in Teddy Pendergrass Biopic

Tyrese recently stopped by the late night talk show 'Lopez Tonight' to promote his role in the new movie 'Legion.' During the visit the actor spoke of his relationship with R&B singer Teddy Pendergrass, who passed away on Jan. 14 at the age of 59. Not only does Tyrese plan to play Pendergrass in an upcoming biopic, he surprised the 'Lopez Tonight' audience with a cover of Pendergrass' 'Come Go With Me.' ...

"I actually started going to Philly [for] like a week at a time because I was doing the research for the life story of Teddy Pendergrass," Tyrese said candidly. "I've never sung in a movie so it would be my first time singing in a film. It's still in motion, but that's why I was out there. I know I went out there for the movie, but we ended up getting really close and that's like my step-pops, so it was a big loss."

"This is the role of a lifetime for me!" Tyrese, one of the pallbearers at Pendergrass' Jan. 23 funeral, continued. "He's one of the original raspy R&B singers out there and he had a real passion for life. I know he's watching down. Teddy aka Pops, I will honor you and do right by you ... R.I.H, 'Rest in Heaven."

In other news, 'Legion' hit theaters Jan. 22 and came in at Number Two in the box office, grossing $18.2 million dollars its first week out.

Dru Hill Reunites for New Album and Reality Show

The last time R&B group Dru Hill reunited it didn't go so well. Recall the infamous YouTube clip where all four members were doing an interview at a Baltimore radio station? Woody announced that he was leaving the group to dedicate himself to his gospel ministry, which resulted in Sisqo storming out and a fight breaking out between Woody and Nokio. Eight years later, it looks like the fellas have put the drama behind them and have reunited to release a new album -- minus Woody. The group has inked a deal with Kedar Entertainment and now includes a new member named Tao (pronounced Tay-oh). Under their deal, they will release 'InDrupendence Day' on April 13. The first single will be a track titled 'Love M.D.' Kedar is also home to other R&B artists such as Joe, Keith Sweat, Chico Debarge and Ginuwine. In other news, Dru Hill has signed on to be part of Sweat's reality television series 'Sweat's Plantinum House.' The show will air on Centeric later this year and will chronicle interactions between Sisqo, Nokio, Jazz and new member Tao and their return to the studio. Sisqo is currently appearing on 'Celebrity Big Brother 2010.' ...

Flavor Flav Involved in Car Accident

Rapper and VH1 reality TV star Flavor Flav was involved in a two-car accident late Wednesday evening (Jan. 20). According to TMZ, the Public Enemy member, whose real name is William Jonathan Drayton, Jr., was driving in Las Vegas when his Cadillac Escalade collided with another vehicle. Flav didn't suffer any serious injuries and was able to drive away with the tow truck driver following the incident. Police were called to the scene to investigate, but no details on the accident or other driver have been released. Pictures posted on TMZ show that the SUV Flav was driving acquired damage to the right side of the hood. Due to the unusual amount of rain in Las Vegas over the last few days a number of traffic accidents have been reported. In a FOX5Vegas.com report, the Las Vegas Metro police said that there are a lot of drivers simply not taking the right precautions. In other news, Public Enemy is currently working on their 13th album. SellaBand.com is helping finance the project with contributions from fans. Flav also jumped on the autotune bandwagon last month and released a single title 'I'll Never Let You Go.' ...

Mystikal Released From Prison?

The Net is currently buzzing about whether or not rapper Mystikal has been released from jail. After pleading guilty to sexual battery and extortion for an incident that occurred in 2002 with his hairstylist, the New Orleans rapper, born Michael L. Tyler was sentenced to six years in prison in 2004. The rapper originally claimed he was innocent, but when a videotape surfaced verifying what happened, he had no choice but to plead guilty. Then in August of 2005, while still incarcerated he was charged with two federal tax evasion misdemeanors and was sentenced to another year in prison, but was allowed to serve the one-year federal sentence as part of his six-year sentence. According to a 2007 report from the Associated Press, Mystikal's projected release date from prison is Jan. 14, 2010, but AllHipHop.com says that Mystikal might have already been released last week, while the Web site DjSmallz.com is reporting the rapper is set to depart from jail on Jan. 15. No official statement from the rapper has been released. In 2004, Mystikal released a greatest hits album called 'The Prince of The South' while incarcerated in an attempt to keep his name alive amongst fans. ...

Method Man to Teach at New York's Learning Annex

Method Man's career has been very prosperous over the last two decades. He's been successful as a hip-hop solo artist, a member of Wu-Tang Clan and as an actor starring in host of TV shows and movies. Now that Meth has mastered his many crafts, it looks like he's willing to share the secrets to his success. On Jan. 28, he will teach a class called 'The Laws of Success' at New York City's Learning Annex. The opportunity to sit-down with the Wu-Tang frontman and hear him present his secrets for achieving and maintaining success will cost $44.95 (plus a $13.50 registration fee). "In this special Learning Annex event, [Method Man] is going to give you the inside scoop on making your dream a reality," said The Learning Annex's Web site. Usher Robbed of More Than $1 Million in Jewelry and Electronics

News surfaces today that Usher may not have had the best Christmas ever. According to reports, the R&B singer claims he was robbed right before the holiday when someone broke into his car outside an Atlanta shopping mall. The incident occurred on Dec. 14, following a stop Usher and a friend made at an AT&T store across the street from the Lenox Square mall in Atlanta, GA. While the two were shopping someone broke into his GMC Yukon and stole a host of Christmas gifts and personal belongings that included $50,000 in furs and clothing, $16,700 in electronics, two computers and more than a million dollars in jewelry. In addition to loosing the group of valuables, Usher told authorities that he was also worried about a group of unreleased tracks that were located on his computer. An AT&T employee said she witnessed a man in his early twenties get out of a burgundy Chevy Impala with tinted windows and pop open the door to Usher's SUV. When contacted by Atlanta news station MyFoxAtlanta the witness declined to comment for fear of retaliation. Police have no suspects at this time and the incident is still under investigation. ...

Timbaland Took Break From Music Because of Jay-Z

Contrary to popular belief, Timbaland wants everyone to know that his relationship with Jay-Z is all good. When three songs that he produced for Jay-Z's 'The Blueprint 3' leaked last year there was speculation that their relationship was in jeopardy, but according to Tim there's no beef between him and Jay-Z. "Me and Jay is kinda weird," he told MTV in a recent interview. "Musically I take friendship very serious. Me and Jay, sometimes people think we have fallings-out. We don't have fallings-out, it's that we don't communicate at the proper time. I take friendship very seriously. I wanna tell him how I might feel about a situation. The last time we talked, he understood how I felt. He saw my point with the Keri [Hilson] stuff being leaked out and everything. I had nothing to do with that. I would never do that to him. Nothing against his wishes. It bothered me so bad I went on hiatus for a minute, because I would never disrespect his wishes. Like, 'I'm trying to do this with my album, please don't let that song get out or no leakage.' Four months later, the song is leaked. I felt so bad, because I would never want my friend to feel like we had some miscommunications." ...

Tim said that someone hacked into his engineer's e-mail and stole files for the songs 'Venus vs. Mars', 'Off That' and 'Rumors' ft/ Keri Hilson in a blatant attempt to try and damage his friendship with Jay-Z.

"I felt like, 'What in the world? Who is trying to sabotage our friendship?' That bothers me. I respect my friends, because I don't get a lot of them. And he's one of my friends in the music industry. I felt like, 'I'll remove myself. If people wanna play us against each other, I'll bow out.' We talk about personal stuff. I don't want him to feel like he canít talk to me about certain things. We both said to [each other] one day, we know we don't need each other musically, but we are friends. I'm like, 'I hope you realize that. But I want you to realize that me and you are like Dre and Snoop.' Sometimes I don't think he understands that. When we get together, we do make magic."

Diddy Compares Rick Ross to Notorious B.I.G.

Diddy has said some remarkable things over the years, but his recent praise of Rick Ross' rhyming skills might raise some eyebrows in the world of hip-hop. During an interview with Spliff TV on the video set for Dirty Money's 'Angels (Remix),' the Bad Boy CEO said that Ross' contribution to the track is comparable to the late Notorious B.I.G. A Biggie sample appears on the original version of Dirty Money's 'Angels.' "Oh y'all ain't heard the second verse," Diddy said about Ross' new part on the remix. "Y'all gonna peep that when we world premiere that. I don't know, I guess [Rick Ross] and Biggie locked up in the room, my man D-Roc even said that. For my man D-Roc to say that and co-sign like, 'Yo, my man right there sounding like our homie.' That right there was something special. That's a mean co-sign. I don't know what was going on in the studio, the spirits were connecting but it's official, you know what I'm saying? It ain't bootleg. No preservatives in it -- it's organic." Snoop Dogg Returns to ABC's 'One Life to Live'

It looks like Snoop Dogg may have made a lasting impression on the folks over at ABC. The iconic rapper and budding actor guest-starred on the network's daytime soap opera 'One Life to Live' in 2008 and recently requested a second appearance. The shows execs are more than happy to have him back. "Snoop Dogg's desire to return to 'One Life to Live' is a tremendous show of support for our show," said Executive Producer Frank Valentini. Teddy Riley Attacks Daughters With Video Game

According to TMZ, Teddy Riley -- highly regarded as one of the hottest producers of the '90s -- has been accused of attacking his daughters with a guitar used to play the video game Rock Band. The producer/singer-songwriter's 18-year-old daughter Taja claims that she and her older sister where victims of "stomping, punching and bashing" by their father at his Los Angeles home on Dec. 23. According to documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Taja alleges that Teddy "lifted a Rock Band guitar and threatened to kill person(s) with it." She also claims to have suffered several injuries as a result of the altercation; "bashes to the temple," bruises on her face and pain in her knee. Photos of her bruises are floating around the 'net. ...

To add insult to injury both Teddy and Taja posted their feelings about the situation via Twitter. In a series of tweets one of Taja's (@tajariley) status updates read, "No Part of this family cares about a father who beats his daughters up "ABUSE is a very fickle thing, cuz now you left a mark." Teddy (@teddyriley1) then posted a comment saying, "You are so right. I did it for a reason, and I would do it again for them to get it. Don't disrespect the hand that feeds you or it will slap you right in the face." His twitter account has since been deleted.

Taja has been granted a temporary restraining order and Teddy Riley has been instructed to stay 100 yards away from her. Another hearing for the case is scheduled for January.

Teddy Riley is the father of nine children and is known for being a member of the group Guy and Blackstreet. He is also noted for his production with artists such as Michael Jackson, Madonna and Bobby Brown.

Rapper Trina made it a point to say exactly how she felt at a recent show in Miami. In a video clip that's surfaced on the 'net, Trina takes the stage following a Khia track and explodes into an explicit verbal attack about how she didn't appreciate the DJ playing a Khia record before her performance. While speaking the self proclaimed Baddest B---- gave props to both Miami based rapper Luke and hip-hop icon Biz Markie, but then proceeded to talk about how the music just played before she came on stage was both wack and fake. "A real b---- from the 305, we don't do f----d up s---. We don't play no f----d up wack a-- b---- s--- before a real b---- comes on stage, so that s--- that y'all was bumping before I got on stage, if that's what y'all was bumping, that's fake s---." Without actually ever saying any names it's been reported by various media outlets that Trina was making reference to Khia. Tensions between the two have been very public over the years. In 2006 Khia made a series of negative comments about Trina in an XXL magazine interview that led Trina to fire back with a track called 'What's Beef.' Khia Previews 'Anger Management' Reality Show Pilot

Rapper Khia has been low-key for the majority of 2009, but in 2010 it looks like she's trying to grab a little shine. In an attempt to create a spin-off to her stint on VH1's 'Miss Rap Supreme,' the 'My Neck, My Back' singer is shopping a reality show called 'Anger Management.' A pilot for the show is currently floating around the Net that profiles her day-to-day life and business ventures with her company Thug Misses/DeeplyPaid Entertainment. In the clip you get to see Khia interacting with fans, what its like for her out on the road, an evening out at a Birmingham nightclub where she has a short conversation with BET's '106 and Park' host Rocsi, and an argument with a nightclub promoter. ...

Khia says that she's shopping 'Anger Management' to VH1 and Bravo. She plans to show VH1 what they should have shown uncut during her time on 'Miss Rap Supreme' in 2008. Khia was disqualified from the series, where female rappers competed for $100,000 and a record deal, after failing to pen an original 16 bars during an elimination round. Instead, she used lyrics from a song she'd previously recorded.

Mariah Carey is known for putting together a hot remix and if you thought her song 'Obsessed' with Gucci Mane was an interesting combination, you ain't seen nothing yet! The R&B diva has teamed up with hip-hop newcomer Nicki Minaj for 'Up Out My Face (UOMF),' a lead single off MC's remix edition of 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.' Mariah took to Twitter during the recent video shoot for 'UOMF' to post pictures and talk about her experience working with Minaj, who she refers to as a "Stonewinner." In her tweet she said, "So, you all know I don't know how to twitpic -- but I will! Check out some pics from 'UOMF' featuring the fabulous Nicki Minaj! Stonewinner!" In the twitpic you see Mariah and Nicki both dressed as Barbie dolls inside over-sized pink boxes. ...

Nick Cannon, Mariah's husband who directed the video for 'UOMF' also posted photos of the video shoot on his blog nickcannon.com. 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel -- The Remixes' is scheduled for a Feb. 14 release.

The world of reality television might get a shake up real soon if R&B singer Bobby Brown and dancer/rapper Kevin Federline have their way. The two who are part of the forthcoming season of VH1's 'Celebrity Fit Club' bonded during the show and are now looking to develop a reality show together. In a recent impromptu interview with a TMZ cameraman Bobby revealed a few details regarding the concept. "We're thinking about doing a show, 'K-Fed and Bobby," he said. Brown was then asked what the show would entail, "I don't know. You'll have to wait and see." Odd couple? While some might think the combination of the two would be a strange match up, Bobby and Kevin have more in common than just 'Celebrity Fit Club.' Both are ex-husbands of famous singers -- Bobby was married to Whitney Houston and Federline to Britney Spears -- and both had reality shows with their former significant others. Remember Kevin and Britney's 'Chaotic' and Bobby and Whitney's 'Being Bobby Brown?' 'Chaotic' proved to be disaster, but 'Being Bobby Brown' was a highly-rated show on the Bravo channel. Despite the news of her parents' imminent divorce, Beyonce Knowles plans on warming things up this winter. The former Destiny's Child member will release her new fragrance 'Heat' this February and is very excited about to getting the scent to her fans. "I'm so happy with it," she told fashion industry outlet WWD.com of the perfume. "I've been working on it for a while now. I was on tour for a year and I [would] have meet-and-greets with fans [to smell the fragrance]. I've never in my life gotten so many compliments. Coty [who holds the license to 'Heat'] has their own testing, but that was my testing! The fans loved it." Beyonce says the name of her new fragrance was inspired from tours she's done in the past. "A lot of my performances have had fire involved, so we thought 'Heat.' Also, red is one of my favorite colors, as is gold," she says of what influenced the colors and frame of the bottle. "So then we thought of making the bottle look like it's on fire. I love antique bottles -- my mother has a collection of them when I was growing up. I wanted something with an antique yet modern feeling. Even with my wardrobe, I always try to find things that have a little bit of something vintage, yet still timeless and classic. The marriage between Beyonce Knowles' parents may be over. According to numerous media outlets Tina Knowles, filed for divorce from Matthew Knowles on Nov. 11, in Harris County, Texas. The couple has been married for 29 years. Tina Knowles whose government name is Celestine Knowles was the costume designer for Destiny's Child and now works as the creative designer for House of Dereon. Matthew Knowles manages both Beyonce and her younger sister Solange Knowles. This doesn't mark the first time that Tina Knowles has separated from her husband. In an interview in 2004 with CBS Tina said that she and Matthew separated early on because she felt that he was a little too driven to make Beyonce's career succeed, but the couple ended up getting back together. This past October, a woman named Alexsandra Wright, who was six month pregnant at the time, filed a paternity suit against in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming that Matthew Knowles is the father of her unborn child. Matthew never publicly commented on the situation or denied the claim. Wright is due to give birth in the spring of 2010. The reason for the Knowles' split currently remains unspecified. ...

Rapper Nelly and former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland are at it again. The two are working on a new duet titled 'Gone' as a follow up to their 2002 hit 'Dilemma.' While putting the finishing touches on the new track at a recent studio session, Nelly and Kelly gave fans a preview via USTREAM. "Were doing DL2 [Dilemma, Part 2], I want y'all to spread the word," said Nelly. After playing a snip-it Nelly was given positive feedback from viewers. "We can't play the whole song yet. We just letting y'all know what we got going on right now," Nelly told the anxious viewers. 'Gone' (DL2) was co-produce by Jim Jonaia and Rico Love and will be featured on Nelly's new album due out next year. LL Cool J Denied Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Honor

LL Cool J has a number of accolades to brag about, but unfortunately he won't be able to add the Rock Roll Hall of fame to the list just yet. The self-proclaimed 'G.O.A.T' (Greatest of All Time) failed to make the cut this time around and although he meets the criteria to be an honoree, he isn't the only one who didn't make the roster. The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kiss, singer/songwriter Laura Nyro, disco queen Donna Summer, R&B vocalist Darlene Love and wall-of-sound girl group the Chantels were also excluded. LL has yet to comment to the media about being overlooked for the prestigious award, but others who believe he is worthy aren't holding back. Slaughterhouse's Joell Ortiz took to his Twitter page to say how he felt. "How [are] they not [going to] let LL Cool J in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame yet? LL Cool J is one of the first rappers that ever reached out to give me encouragement early on." Former XXL Editor-In-Chief Elliot Wilson also spoke out about the snub. "F--- the stats. I can't believe the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame chose to not induct him," he said via his Web site Rapradar.com. "Last year, you put [Run-DMC] in and now you front on LL? The man who designed the blueprint of what a solo hip-hop star could be. This is beyond my comprehension. Disrespectful. So so so disrespectful. This is his first year of eligibility so I'm sure this will be rectified soon but still the moment's ruined. If I was Todd I'd tell' em to kiss my black a--. You only get a first time to do the right thing." To be considered an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame, it's standard for an act to have released their first single or album 25 years prior to the nomination. This years inductees were chosen by 500 voters part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation. Last year hip-hop legends Run-DMC received the honor and Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5 in 2007. TuneUp's software allows iTunes users to add information to mislabeled tracks, find missing cover art and present useful, fun and contextual information. In other news, Biz Markie keeps the checks rolling in from his popular 1989 hit "Just A Friend." Radio Shack licensed the song for a series of their 2009 holiday commercials. But, there is a "but." The contest, a joint promo with Vitaminwater, is to be done solely on 50's new iPhone and iPod Touch application, 50's Sound Lab. The new application gives access to the key elements of the original recording of 'Baby By Me' and provides creative tools that allow anyone to give the new single their own personalized sound. 50 also plans to give fans the chance to show off their skills as part of the contest. The series will give a behind-the-scenes look at the women who assist Simmons with his professional and everyday life. "Russell Simmons is a fascinating man and seeing his world through the eyes of his dream team, comprised of strong, passionate women, provides a unique experience for our viewers," said Amy Introcaso-Davis, Senior Vice President of Original Programming and Development for Oxygen Media. Sean "Diddy" Combs made two guest appearances on the Home Shopping Network this week that proved to be record breaking. While visiting the show on Monday (Nov. 30) and Tuesday (Dec.1) the hip-hop mogul presented items from his Sean Jean fragrance line and introduced his new women's fragrance, Empress, which is the counterpart to his I Am King cologne. "I have a very sensitive nose. I don't like things to be overbearing and this is not that type of fragrance," Combs told female viewers about Empress. "It's a very clean scent, a very sensual, [and] seductive sent. It's the type of scent you want to get up close and personal with." ...

According to The Home Shopping Network, Diddy set a new sales record when selling out his entire scent collection. Diddy sold 2,600 units of the I Am King Classic Gift Set within 16 minutes following his appearance. He sold 2,000 units of the Unforgivable Gift Set for Women within 14 minutes and 1,000 units of the Unforgivable Gift Set for Men within ten minutes. Ranging between $58 to $78 in price, the mogul lived up to his name selling a total of 5,600 units, approximately pocketing more than $300,000 in sales. Will.I.AM Creates Award Show for DJs

The art of DJing has always been a key element in hip-hop and Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am has created an awards show to pay respect to those putting it down on the Ones and Twos. On Jan. 30, the eve of the Grammy Awards, Will.I.Am will launch The Data Awards to honor the work of club DJs. "There's a lot of things going on in music nowadays; record stores falling, the internet ... One of the most important factors in this is that the DJs and artists are still very much alive," Will.I.Am said at a recent press conference. "During Grammy week we are celebrating and honoring the DJ by announcing the Data Awards and giving them the top awards. We're starting off small with four awards: Best DJ, Best DJ Solo/Group, Best Remix and Best Original Track. I'm really excited about that." The Data Awards will be part of a week of fundraising events put together by Will.I.Am. Also scheduled is an art exhibition titled Who Killed The Music? Rihanna to Perform on Saturday Night Live

The show, hosted by 'Gossip Girl' star Blake Lively, will be Rihanna's first time on the 'SNL'. No information has been released yet as to what two songs she will perform. Mariah Carey will release her latest album 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel' for a second time this coming February in an effort to recoup low album sales. The project will be a remixed version of the original available exclusively at Target stores. Mariah's manager Chris Lightly recently revealed information about the upcoming project via his Twitter account. "Listen 'Memoirs' remix LP February ... No date set, working on Target exclusive." The website Rap-Up.com reports that Lightly also revealed a list of producers and artists that will be part of the project that includes Swizz Beatz, Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, Trey Songz, R. Kelly, T-Pain, Gucci Mane, and OJ Da Juiceman. "There's gonna be remixes to everything," Stewart told Rap-Up.com. "I'm actually doing some remixing myself currently 'cause some of these records were so much fun to make. It's easy to go in and do a remix." Tricky also confessed that there's one song in particular he wants to put his touch on. "I'm gonna do a remix to 'I Want to Know What Love Is' myself," he said. I'mma raise the tempo up. 'This Is It,' the movie that profiles Michael Jackson's final rehearsal footage before his death, topped the box office over the weekend. The film grossed $32.5 million domestically and $101 million worldwide. "He's just loved everywhere on the planet," Rory Bruer, head of distribution for Sony told the Associated Press. "It doesn't matter if it's Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, South America. Every continent in the world loved him and his music." 'This Is It' made $68.5 million oversees, bringing in $10.4 million in Japan, $7.6 in the U.K., $6.3 million in Germany, $5.8 in France and $3.2 million in China. Sony Pictures paid $60 million for the rights to release the film and only intended on showing the film for two weeks. After recouping the cost in only a matter of days the studio has decided to extend the film through the Thanksgiving weekend. Michael Jackson, known to the world as "The King of Pop," died this past June. He recently earned the number three spot on the Forbes "Top Earning Dead Celebrities" list. Since his death his estate has earned approximately $90 million dollars. ...
