Michelle Williams Welcomes 'Heartbreak' in Our Studio

Former Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams waltzed into our Los Angeles studio with a demeanor just as sweet as her voice and a personality bigger than you'd expect from the former gospel singer/less assuming member of DC. She admits that people often make assumptions about her personality and frequently attempt to categorize her as the wholesome girl that only sings gospel when not performing alongside Kelly Rowland and Beyonce Knowles. Williams' new record will surely prove the critics and naysayers wrong.

The record, aptly titled 'Unexpected,' features the singer's distinct vocals over disco beats as Williams sings of partying 'til the wee hours of the morning on the first single 'We Break the Dawn' and welcoming pain and danger on the pop-dance track 'Hello Heartbreak.' Fans of the singer's smoother side will instantly fall in love with the soulful ballad 'The Greatest,' an anthem about discovering that the perfect love is sometimes right in front of your face. Williams displays her many sides in our studio as she performs some of her favorites 'Unexpected' tracks. Buy 'Unexpected' on iTunes.

John Legend Steps From Behind the Piano in Our Studio

Bearing witness to the production surrounding singer-songwriter/producer John Legend's Sessions performance last month, you can't help but marvel at the success of the Grammy-winning crooner, who burst on the scene with his debut album, 'Get Lifted,' just four years ago. Now, Legend is already on his third studio album, 'Evolver,' which hit stores Oct. 28.

Just a few years after Legend's critically-acclaimed debut, the singer finds himself in a very comfortable position. He's confident in his ability to deliver the best of what his fanbase loves: romantic, piano-laced ballads, and a little of the unexpected -- i.e. 'Greenlight,' the first single off 'Evolver.' OutKast's Andre 3000 joins the singer on the dance track and teases the 'Ordinary People' pianist.

Lloyd Teaches 'Lessons in Love' in Our L.A. Studio

It's no secret that ladies love Atlanta-based crooner Lloyd. And why wouldn't they? The 22-year-old exudes charm and southern hospitality, and on his new album, 'Lessons in Love,' the singer makes the transition from teen heartthrob to a semi-grown and sexy R&B singer. Lloyd manages to satisfy both worlds with the hit single 'Girls Around the World,' featuring Lil Wayne, and 'How We Do It (Around My Way),' featuring Ludacris, while smooth, sexy tracks like 'Year of the Lover' and 'I Can Change Your Life' show off the singer's new adult sound.

"I hope to bring clarity between sex and love. Sometimes it gets misinterpreted and love is always in the air in Lloyd's world, but we like to practice safe loving, and we just want people to know the difference," Lloyd said in an exclusive interview. "There's a lot of people out there who may be younger than me who listen to my music and there's some people that's older who have it misconstrued. It's almost like a re-education of what love is, actually, and I just hope to educate as well as entertain."

David Banner Tells the 'Greatest Story' in Our Studio

David Banner turned into the incredible hulk in our Los Angeles studio and ran through each performance with unrivaled energy. "If ya'll wonder after ya'll saw this AOL show why David Banner ain't on no tour, I'm not on no tour 'cause the headliner always get mad cause he know I'm better than he is, and I look better. Look at me! I'm ravishing. I'm way past dashing now," the rapper jokes.

After his high voltage performances, the often underrated southern rapper sat down and discussed his hometown, hurricane Katrina and his upcoming album, due in stores July 15, which he assures is 'The Greatest Story Ever Told.'

"I did this album like a mountain. My mentor said even if your album is up here and it stays at the top, it's still going to be boring to people. You have to have peaks and valleys." Not only does Banner's new project have "peaks and valleys," but the album also has a slew of superstar collaborations, including guest spots by Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg, Akon and Lil Wayne.
