Big Sean Shares 'Similar Tales' With Eminem

Big Sean scored a studio session with Eminem a few months before Kendrick Lamar and the Black Hippy crew rubbed elbows with him in the same location. Now the Detroit native is speaking about the memorable experience with Slim Shady.

The two rappers worked on new material, though there is no set destination where the song will end up. "You might get it from my album, you may get it for his album, you may get it a little later," Sean tells MTV.

J. Cole Gives Details on Why 'Let Nas Down' Was Created

J. Cole idolizes Nas, so much so that he wrote a song about him for his sophomore album, Born Sinner.

"Let Nas Down," his favorite song on the LP, was created as a way for the Roc Nation rapper to vent about his feelings. In an interview with Fuse, Cole explains that he was in the studio crafting the perfect radio song, which he thought was "Work Out," his 2011 hit. However, when the track was released, he didn't get the warm reception he had hoped for.

"It was the worst response I've ever gotten on any song I've ever put out. It was a terrible response," the North Carolina native revealed. "When I made that song, it was a triumph."

Busta Rhymes Adds Nicki Minaj to 'Twerk It' Remix

Busta Rhymes calls on one woman who can actually perform the act celebrated in the remix to his new song, "Twerk It": Nicki Minaj.

The Young Money star, who showed the world how she could twerk for Lil Wayne at the Billboard Music Awards last month, throws on her best patios and serves adlibs while Bussa Bus gets close with his lady. "Come her gyal, we a do/ Hmm, what a gwan, done with that/ Dutty wine, Tony Matterhorn/ Base'll lick you/ Make it clap while I take it off," he raps.

Lil Durk Arrested on Weapons Charge

Chicago rapper Lil Durk was arrested early this morning for unlawful use of a loaded handgun.

The newly signed Coke Boy -- French Montana's imprint -- was located at the 7200 block of South Green St., around 3AM when police pulled up to the area and allegedly witnessed him toss a gun into his car, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Mario Reveals J. Cole Collaboration, Talks New Album

Fresh off his return to the R&B game with his Nicki Minaj-assisted song "Somebody Else," Mario is giving some more information on his upcoming fifth album, the follow-up to 2009's D.N.A.

In an interview with Baltimore's 92 Q Jams, the R&B singer describes the sound of the project as well as a special guest that will collaborate with him.

"If I had to pick a word, I would definitely say refined," Mario states of the opus. "Creatively, sonically. All around the board."
