Say what you want about the early years of the rap Grammy: It wasn’t about representing “real” hip-hop; they only gave out the nominations and the trophy to artists with radio-friendly records. Rap’s second year at music’s biggest night featured more of the same with one exception -- “I Think I Can Beat Mike Tyson.” We may laugh now at the year’s winner, “Bust A Move,” by Young MC, but at least those of us who were around can remember what it sounded like, which is more than we can say about “I Think I Can Beat Mike Tyson."
