Toronto has produced quite a few buzzworthy artists over the past few years, and Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye is one of the hottest to come out of the city. Within a single year, the Ethiopia-born prodigy has dropped three mixtapes: House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence. The 22-year-old is a part of Drake's October's Very Own collective, and his vocals have been featured on tracks like "Crew Love," from Drizzy's Take Care's album. But he already has his own fan base, which is waiting patiently for his first full-length studio album.
