Older than any of the other female artists on this list, she still fits in with the likes of her younger counterparts. The soul veteran, with her signature slick bun, has looked the same since she debuted her first LP, Diamond Life, in 1984. Although she was a vegetarian for many years, she reportedly said in an interview with L.A. Times that she began eating meat again. "I just thought the natural thing to do right now was to eat meat. I went through the whole veggie period thinking that was a good thing, and maybe it was for that time," she explained. There's nothing reporting her workout routine or any other special practices that keeps the singer young, but at 53, it would be nice if she'd share her secrets.
