On Valentine's Day 2010, Kid Cudi made his acting debut on HBO -- a huge break for any actor, much less a rapper with little to no film experience. The show, 'How to Make It In America,' was executive produced by Mark Wahlberg. Although Cudi played a supporting role in the comedic drama, he received plenty of face time and did surprisingly well as the good-natured, perpetually blunted friend Domingo Dean. 'How to Make It' spoke to youthful exuberance, pursuit of passions and achieving dreams, ideals that Cudi was familiar with. Unfortunately, despite rave reviews from the hip-hop community, the show was cancelled after its second season in 2011.
