K. Michelle nearly had a breakthrough a few years ago when she was signed to Jive Records and got involved with music executive Memphitz. Unfortunately she never dropped her debut album and things weren't looking up for the singer. However, the southern belle has been keeping herself busy working with everyone from Trina to Rick Ross. She earned a gold plaque for her collaboration with her mentor R. Kelly on his Love Letter LP. Now K. Michelle's hoping to rebuild her career from the ground up, all while spilling the beans on the violence that dissolved her relationship with Memphitz, a man she describes as "the love of her life."
