"I can remember the day. The first time I ever got 'in trouble,' I will never forget. I was 4 years old and my mother was watching 'All My Children' -- yes it’s been on the air that long. So she was watching her soaps and I was home with her and she was smoking. My mother was like a really heavy smoker, and I picked up the cigarette and I smoked the cigarette. She was like, 'Oh my God! No! Don’t ever do that!' and she like yelled at me. The funniest thing was that my only concern at that point was, 'Please don’t tell my father.' I immediately started crying because I knew I was in trouble, and she was like, 'No, no!' I think she felt more guilt than anything because she left the cigarette right there. And then I never really smoked again. I actually think cigarette smoke is kind of gross."
