Ron Isley, lead singer of R&B's first family the Isley Brothers, is a longtime R. Kelly collaborator. The two have teamed up on several songs since the Isleys first appeared on "Down Low (Nobody Has to Know)," a track off Kelly's 1995 self-titled album. Isley, 70, has remained chummy with R. Kelly through the years -- 2001's "Contagious" off the Isley's Eternal LP a notable standout -- making him a perfect contender for grumpy Randolph, a character in "Trapped in the Closet." Randolph has his vices -- gin-drinking and spying, to name a few -- as does Isley, who finished serving a three-year prison sentence in 2010 for tax evasion.
