Being an A&R for any veteran artist is of course a top honor. But when the singer's new album seems to be lost in a black hole, you're stuck in a catch 22. It took Maxwell almost a decade to finally release BLACKsummers'night. And the supposed two albums that are supposed to complete the trilogy have yet to surface. The folks behind Maxwell's LPs are probably tired of answering the question, "When is the album coming?" The constant whirlwind will have fans forgetting, while all the newbies take the spotlight. Let's just hope these people have decent retirement packages.
