After years of rumors claiming that the duo's solo projects were proof that OutKast was a done deal, Big Boi and Andre 3000 have confirmed that they'll be releasing an album together in 2009."We got a few songs we already picked out," Big Boi told MTV. "We pick the beats first. I drop my [solo album] in July, Dre puts his out [later this year], and we drop that Outkast record at the top of [next] year."
In the meantime, OutKast fans can check out "Royal Flush," the expected first single off Big Boi's upcoming album, 'Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty,' due in June. Andre 3000 and Raekwon are featured on the track, which includes a perfectly placed snippet of the Isley Brothers' 'Voyage to Atlantis.'
