Looks like Nicki Minaj's stint as a judge on "American Idol" will be short-lived.

The wig-wearing emcee is set to make an exit from the singing competition after Season 12 ends tonight, according to Us Weekly.

A source reveals that Minaj is comfortable with the decision to leave. "It's safe to say she isn't coming back to 'Idol,'" the insider tells Us. Apparently the rapper has her hands full with her new album, performances and endorsement deals. "She's okay with it. She had a great time but was only going to do one season anyway."

Whenever Kanye West graces the stage, a rant is sure to follow. Case in point: last night's Adult Swim Upfront party at Roseland Ballroom in New York City. The G.O.O.D. Music head honcho performed new material from his forthcoming material and took aim at the pesky paparazzi – remember when they caught him bashing his head into a metal sign last week?

Ye debuted a new track called 'Awesome,' complete with Auto-Tune. On the song, he delivers line about the woman he holds near and dear. "I'd rather do nothing with you than something new with somebody new," he sang, drenched in hues of blue and red lights.

A$AP Ferg Welcomes A$AP Rocky, French Montana & More for 'Work' Remix Video

A$AP Ferg actually embraced the term "remix" when he crafted the new version of his track "Work" featuring A$AP Rocky, French Montana, Trinidad James and ScHoolboy Q – there's fresh, new verses to be heard. In the song's accompanying video, he heads West to L.A. and brings it back home to his East Coast, Harlem roots.

"I gotta close the window before I record because New York don't know how to be quiet," he states before the song commences. The visual finds Ferg in a L.A. warehouse and in Harlem's Rucker Park, surrounded by an entourage of rowdy dudes.

Kelly Rowland reveals some shocking things that she has never told the press in her new song, 'Dirty Laundry,' set to appear on her forthcoming album, "Talk a Good Game."

The former Destiny's Child member is honest and unabashed on the track, which was produced by The-Dream. She holds nothing back when singing about her career downfalls – pursuing a solo career while she watched Beyonce flourish -- and relationship turmoil -- she was involved with a verbally and physically abusive man.

"Let's do this dirty laundry/ When you soaked them tears for years it never airs out/ When you make pain look this good it never wears out," Rowland belts out on the chorus.

Lil Wayne's Emmett Till Lyric Was Never Meant for Public Consumption

Jason Merritt

The saga continues regarding Lil Wayne's Emmett Till lyric. According to the producer of Future's 'Karate Chop' remix, which features Weezy's controversial lyrics, the line was never intended to be heard by the public.

Metro Boomin, a 19-year-old producer from Atlanta, crafted the beat for the track. Wayne apparently sent his verse in and the beatmaker claims once he heard the Emmett Till reference, he thought it was "no good."

"We didn't even intend for it to come out like that," he tells Vibe.com. "It was serious. I was like, 'Honestly, it will be no good' so we took the line out. But there was a music video... The whole reason the song came out prematurely is [because] it got leaked. I'm not even going to say his name. He had ripped the song off the video director's...
