Young Jeezy 's upcoming album, 'The Recession,' which the Atlanta-based rapper describes as a natural progression, will be released on September 2 on his label CTE through Def Jam Records. "I went from 'Thug Motivation' to 'The Inspiration' and [now] 'The Recession,'" Jeezy said in a an interview. "And that's just how I'm feeling, I'm feeling the recession. I'm feeling the drought and I'm gonna speak on it. And when I speak on it you're gonna appreciate it."
The rapper will be providing new content on his web-site every Tuesday, beginning today, until the release of his record. He will also be kicking off an 11-date promotional tour on August 10 in Houston, where he will also be attending the Ozone Awards.
