'Doggystyle,' by Snoop DoggWill there ever be a time when partygoers and newbie drinkers with access to a bottle of gin and a pitcher of red Kool-Aid won't think of this album while mixing up that now famous and potent concoction? The impact was sudden and profound: Dr. Dre set the stage with 'The Chronic,' then Snoop brought the house down with 'Doggystyle,' and hip-hop hasn't been the same since.

Lil wayne raps like a 5 year old poetry book, he's a hype-product who cant match his flow with the song. Anybody can spit puns at whatever pace they want to some shit beats.
Where's "Black Star", Mos Def and Talib Kweli made one hell of an album that brought a little more light to good hip-hop when shitty music was getting famous. I understand it not being top 20 but an honorable mention or something?
And for top future albums, watch for Wale and Charles Hamilton. Wale's already been called the best young rapper since Jay-Z and Charles Hamilton is one of the most creative musicians (yeah, not just hip-hop) I've ever heard, he takes influence from everything, music is that guys LIFE.

In my opinion, this list needs:
Black Star (one of the best duos ever)
Binary Star
Gang Starr
and a bunch of other artists

yo this list is pretty good as far as what is on there the order could be moved around a bit though. I would like to see someone put Murs 3:16, maybe Gang Starr, Jeru, and Scarface up there though. I don't have anything against lil wayne and rappers of today but DON'T CALL IT HIP HOP. It's rap, and this discussion is a wrap.
