Seems like the folks over at NBC are partial to casting rappers on Law & Order, SVU. OutKast's Big Boi will star in a two part episode that is set to air in November. He will play the role of "Gots Money," a rapper from Westchester, N.Y.Other hip-hop stars to grace the show are Ice-T, who?s been part of the cast since 2000, and Ludacris, who appeared on the show twice.
In addition to extending his acting career, Big Boi is said to be putting the finishing touches on his upcoming solo album, 'Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty,' and also plans to hop back in the studio with his other half, Andre 3000. The next Outkast project is expected to be released in 2009.
